This week I've been taking a break from running to let my blisters heal without disturbance so hopefully I'll be able to get back into training this weekend without 'running' into problems again. I get worried that missing out on my running KM's is going to hinder my fitness but in the larger prospective its actually fine, I can cross train and enjoy a different schedule for a change.
Next trail run I'll be running without my orthotics to avoid pressure points as it is too wide for the shoe. A lot of people say that trail running is different to road running in the fact that people who have orthotics can do without them. Opinions on this?
And does anyone have orthotics for road running but doesn't use them for trail running?
