Check out the latest photo from our safety upgrade works at Kangaroo Creek.
Work so far has included extension of the outlet tunnel and valves, which allows water to be discharged via the Torrens River to Hope Valley. The dam wall widening is well underway, as is the widening of the spillway. Work on the upstream dam face seals is also complete, allowing the reservoir to begin refilling.
The project is on track for completion in late 2019.
Zor, who was the executive chef of Restaurant Andre and RAW Taipei, highly recommends Cheek by Jowl in Singapore, which uses fresh produce, honest food and creative plates to showcase flavours around the world. Without the constraints of seasons, Chef Rishi has the access to a plethora of Asian ingredients. Lauded signatures on the menu is Australia-roasted loin of kangaroo served with burnt carrots and wattle seeks. Another noteworthy dish is the dessert of black olive panna cotta with poached rhubarb.

Euro (Macropus robustus erubescens) or common Wallaroo. There was a tiny pool of water along Mt Chambers Gorge where the roos and feral goats all gathered to drink. Not many waterholes in this drought stricken land.
