boarding our flight to portland and already in full vacation mode ✌🏻still dreaming of this 70’s magic install from our shoot with the raddest brides (and holy moly THE MOST chemistry😍🔬) can’t wait to see more from the magic maker @kamiolavarria, but until then i’ll be river rafting while sipping whiskey sours in oregon.
Lil glimpse into my fiber studio...There are so many things I love about this room! My boy’s artwork truly inspires the heck out of me, so I like to hang it all around. In the corner my Great Grandfather’s cedar chest of drawers keeps all my yarn naturally pest free. My next task is to weave some fun curtains to hang in the window. Though the vintage woven sari does just fine; I still think it will be interesting to weave curtains :) Fun fact: I really love sitting on the floor to work! Sometimes I stand or transition to my comfy pouf when working on the big loom. I try to move around a lot, as sitting in a chair really puts a strain on my body. I’m entertaining the idea of getting one of those balls to sit on, to really strengthen my core...sorry don’t know what they are called lol What are some ways you try to make sitting more comfortable+better for your body?

Les cuento que estos objetos se usan para pasar la trama por la urdimbre en el telar y se llaman lanzaderas, fueron creados por Jhon Kay en 1733 y con ellas se logró obtener mayor velocidad al tejer.🤓👌
