Just arrived back home in a worryingly tropical Stockholm after spending countless of hours in rain and some occassional sun on neverending roads like these for the past week. For anyone looking to flee the country, Iceland is the place to go as they’re having their worst summer in years. This all made for some classical weather small talk between the swedes wanting to stay in the breathable cold and the icelandics hoping to get away from it.
Final score for Iceland would be 10/10 but as the Icelandic company hvalur.hf once again is allowed to hunt whales for profit the score is 0/10. With continuous pressure from the people of Iceland and the rest of the outside world, the government will hopefully implement new legislation to make their country a 10/10 again. #visiticeland#boycotticeland#stopicelandwhaling#iceland#roads#sky#travel#lpfanphoto#traveliceland#roadtrip#adventure#travelphotography#sonyalpha#alphacollective#sonyworldclub
The Elevador de Santa Justa in Lisbon is a stunning 45-metre long neo-Gothic vertical lift that was built to bring people back and forth between downtown and Chiado. Many attribute it to Gustave Eiffel, but in fact the father of the Eiffel tower didn't design it. At the very top there is a terrace with a mind-blowing 360-degree view of the old city.
