Happy Saturday friends!! After a particularly hard week I’m so glad it’s finally the WEEKEND!! I can’t wait to spend some time with my hubby and relax. What do you have planned for the weekend?
Today I’m wearing the Brigitte Brianna Peplum Top! I love that it covers certain problem areas (if you know what I mean 😉)! You can dress it up with a skirt or dress it down with jeans like I did. I paired it with my favorite wedges and called it good!
It comes in blush, navy, red, ivory, and black! I kind of want one in each color. 😂

There could never be a more beautiful you. Don't buy the lies, disguises and hoops they make you jump through. You were made to fill a purpose, that only you could do. So there could never be a more beautiful you. #MTSM#MomsOfInstagram#beYOUtiful

Listen, feed your child the best way you can and see fit! No one should judge any mother on how she decides she wants to feed her child. There are so many obstacles, misinformation, and lack of resources in so many communities, I know. It’s okay to inform or assist, but judgement is never cool with me.
Bottle or Breast, Support It. Support Her.
Thank you @culturedlane for the amazing shirt. Check her out! It’s a lifestyle brand that seeks to inspire and motivate consumer’s way of life, interests and the attitudes of a few cultures. They have shirts, baby onesies and mugs with unique and witty themes.
Lastly, Paris decided she wanted to give y’all an example of breastfeeding during our mini shoot. Lol. #normalizebreastfeeding#supporther#supportsmallbusiness#supportblackbusiness
Moming a toddler is rough.
I joke about all the time. “We’re almost out of the terrible twos, but now I have to deal with a threenager!” But seriously...it’s rough y’all!
This morning at 6 am Joshua threw a fit because his banana had a brown spot 😐 as he was crying over the brown spot the banana broke in half as he was following me into the bathroom so I could get him a new diaper and fell on the floor, cue epic meltdown #2, over a banana he didn’t even want. Once the banana fiasco was a little calmed down and we had removed his diaper it escalated quickly into him not wanting his diaper changed because he didn’t “like that diaper” and when he wouldn’t put his new diaper on he laid in the hallway crying hysterically. At this point, I walked away. At this point, with my child, there is no calming him down until he chooses to do so, and he peed on himself and the floor. Cue epic meltdown #3 because his T-shirt was all wet and he wanted a diaper on.
This all happened in 5 minutes. THIS is my everyday with a toddler. If it’s not over a broken banana it’s because he wants to go outside, or watch TV, or not take a nap, or whatever else is the end of the world for a toddler. I’m almost certain that every mom out there has gone through this same stage. And it’s Rough! (Did I say that already?!) It can make you want to scream and run away! It tests your patience every single day. Every. Single. Day.
I have to remind myself everyday that he’s still a toddler and learning. It’s my job to teach him how to handle these feelings. I don’t do a good job some days. Some days I yell right back. Some days he’s in timeout 10 times. But I’m trying!! I’m trying my hardest to handle these toddler years! But you bet your ass when I’m old as hell and he’s taking care of me I will break a banana and scream for a new one and then pee on myself! 😂 I’m joking (maybe) for now, just know if you’re out there moming a toddler, I feel for you girl! 💜
#noexcuses Man, I HATE that mess!! 😡
As a coach, I have seen people calling other out for their excuses over and over again. And always with a air of.. "yeah I have my life together better than yours" OR "Gosh, are you even trying?!" I know I have even been guilty of this myself. 😖 But since Naomi has been born, I have literally had all of the excuses. --->No time. --->No energy. --->No space with two kids running around me. --->Little to no motivation, even though I have shown up every day. --->No extra money on the side with summer vacays, camps, new baby expenses, school supplies lists.
I have the excuses and I OWN THEM. I'm not ashamed of them either.
But after completing week 1 of the new lifting and hiit program, I am realizing I can keep my excuses and still get really amazing results. --->>Only 4 short workouts a day. --->3 recovery days where I can sleep in or get other things done. --->The program comes with a modifier and resistance bands so I don't need a lot of space or equipment. --->I have new challenge group starting Monday with a brand new group of rockstars that I know is going to pump up my motivation and excitement for fitness again ((the only thing missing is YOU 😘)) --->I know how tight this time of the year can be so I am going to DISCOUNT this program by over $120 😲 just for YOU!! AND an extra special GIFT for the 1st three people to join me in the next 72 hours.
So, you with the excuses! 👊 I have them too. But why not keep them, accept them, and still get a little healthier in the process?! **Must not be already working with a coach to take advantage of the discount or gift. Serious inquiries full of excuses only. 😊 Fill of the questionnaire in the comments to be considered.
I’ve never been one to be able to just sit down and read😂 It takes me FOREVER to read one book front to back. And by the time I’m half way in, I typically lose interest and just give it up. So teaching bridger to love reading has been one of my #1 goals. He’s made my goal so easy because he seriously LOVES books!💕 We’ve added these @good_night_books to our bed time routine, they are the cutest books! Our current favorites are Good Night Dozer and Good Night Dallas/Fort Worth. They have all the US States and so many cute options!📚 #goodnightbooks
