Are you interested in starting to Meditate but not sure how to? Here are a couple guidelines to help you get started!💗 1. Start slow, just 5 minutes each day. Gradually increase over several weeks.
2. Find a comfortable spot where you can sit and not be disturbed.
3. Close your eyes and relax, palms facing up. You can count your breaths to 10 and restart or simply say "in, out." When your mind wanders- which it will do- gently guide your attention back to your breath. *Noticing that your mind has wandered is the whole point of meditation- you are becoming more aware of the actions of your mind.*
4. Find the best time of the day for YOU and make it a habit.
Happy Meditating Everyone!💗🙏 #prairieenergyhealing#moosejaw#sk#meditation#meditationmonday#beginner#peace#calm#happiness#changesyourlife#selfcare#spirituality

Just finished up shooting part two of a special project. We have been working hard over the last couple of days completing 27 hours of photo shoots. It’s a lot of work but rewarding to work with a great group of fit people to shoot with and we got a lot of fantastic shots. No previews yet, but a couple of behind the scenes snapshots at one of the many amazing locations we had the opportunity to shot in (complete with our PPE gear - safety first folks!)
This past weekend our community of Moose Jaw hosted its 7th annual Wakamow Aboriginal Community Association Pow Wow in River Park! It was well attended and our team was sad to have to miss. “And just like that it's all done! Thank you everyone who came out to the Powwow! It was a fantastic day. Special thanks to our board members and volunteers who worked so hard today.” Lori Deets, Director of WACA Check out the Pow Wows being hosted in your areas and enjoy the beautiful regalia, food, friendships and relationship building and educational moments. June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day with events planned across the country! We encourage you to take time and attend. #waca#powwow#relations#culture#traditions#moosejaw#indigenouspeoplesday #2018

While some Canadians enjoyed the arrival of sunshine and warm weather this week, residents of Moose Jaw, Sask., had this to contend with.
In the early hours of the day this morning, the city was hit with a hail storm without warning, which lasted about 20 to 30-minutes.
Local resident Jocelyn Froehlich captured video of the hail falling through her front door, and based on those visuals alone you might think it was still winter.
"It was crazy and quite loud," she says. "It was non-stop hail pounding our house."
Still, compared to previous years, she says the damage isn't quite as bad.
In 2016, a similar storm hit that flooded parts of the city and caused major damage.
