Lamar Miller and D’Onta Foreman have to provide Deshaun Watson with some relief this upcoming season. Houston’s running back duo is one of the most important underlining factors for the Texans: #NFL#ProFootball
Morning Notes… -- You seeing these little notes questioning Jimmy Garoppolo’s accuracy and ball handling skills in training camp all of a sudden?
Richard Sherman was praising Garoppolo in a press conference but said he figured out JG’s ‘tell’ (something with his hand movements pre-throw) and then told the whole world…which Sherman is not dumb, he’s either helping JG fix something or bluffing the rest of the league.
Am I supposed to believe that Jimmy Garoppolo, of the miracle 5-0 run with an awful football team to end 2017…the guy Belichick wanted to keep and trade Tom Brady to make room for – that guy is struggling in camp out of nowhere? Excuse me if I don’t buy it.
I think the media would like to.
I think they are lined up to ‘turn’ on Jimmy G. when the opportunity presents itself. How dare a small school guy drafted way ahead of what the genius football analysts thought…and was drafted by Bill Belichick, who they all hate/respect but hate…that guy cannot be one of the best QBs in the NFL right under all their noses.
I would like to be fed more stories about how good Josh Allen and Jameis Winston look in camp, how accurate they are…and how inaccurate Garoppolo looks. All these people would have taken Winston and Allen over Garoppolo if they all came out into the draft at the same time…and they would all be fools, but that’s not going to stop them. Instead of admitting the error and examining how they can improve their scouting…it’s easier to just try to tear down Jimmy G. with ‘fake news’ and prop up the likes of Allen and Winston.
It’s getting so predictable it’s laughable. They, the media, do it in political and national news and certainly do it in football news because they’re all the same people just with different names and faces.
Other preseason propaganda coming…
Tyrod Taylor is awesome and Baker Mayfield looks incompetent in camp stories.
Carson Wentz looks better than ever, and Nick Foles is coming back to earth/struggling stories.
It’s all highly important to recognize this nonsense bias for fantasy redraft ADP/planning, dynasty and fantasy trades, and as handicappers betting seasons and games.

It’s becoming harder to defend Jameis Winston and it’s sad because his poor off the field behavior is destroying his legacy: #NFL
Player Spotlight: DB, Richard Sherman. I never thought I would see this happen, especially with the rivalry between SF and Seattle. Love him or hate him, we have to get used to seeing Richard Sherman rep that red and gold. Sherman is coming off a torn Achilles, but is betting on himself to prove he’s still an elite cornerback and take this defense to the next level.
Sherman will provide leadership to this young secondary and is already mentoring them during the offseason. In fact many players have said he has acted as an extra coach earning the nicknames “Coach Sherman” and “Uncle Sherm.” Like it or not, Sherman is ready to prove himself to the haters. #SF#49ers#RichardSherman#49erplayerspotlight#NFL
