I see so many people jogging, with the worst form 🙅🏽♂️ Y’all know what im talking about, one arm lookin like a chicken wing, and the other flailing around 🙈 cut it out! ✂️
Not everyone that runs meets the prerequisites needed for running 🚧 Combine that with poor form, running on concrete, and shoes that have way too much “support” welp thats a recipe for disaster 🤕
Wall drills are great for reinforcing proper running mechanics as well as a diagnostic for running. Try these simple moves to prep yourself!
✅ Wall March
1️⃣ Start at a 45 degree angle, pushing against the wall, packing your shoulders
2️⃣ Bring one knee up in air high, without overextending spine, keep core and opposite leg glute engaged
3️⃣ Bring foot down then alternate knee raise, keeping rest of body stable
✅ Load and Lift
1️⃣ Start with body at a 45 degree angle, pushing against the wall, packing your shoulders
2️⃣ Lift one knee in air, then extend that same leg back, forming a straight line from shoulders to toe. Keep slight bend in standing leg
