When she was born she had the most intricate light blue eyes I’d ever seen. We kept waiting for her eyes to change as she grew but they never did which surprised us all. Now I know you cannot see how blue they are because the photo is black and white, but I just loved the way this edit enhances her freckles much like a collodion image would...and since my dark room isn’t climate controlled it’s the next best thing to practicing tintypes 🤷🏻♀️ #cc_details
@henry_nwoko after One of the best dynamic cardio workouts you can do, boxing 🥊! Many people make the mistake that boxing is all in the upper body but, in fact, it’s mostly in the legs. Yes the shoulders will work but if you’re doing it right, your foot work, balance and even your punch will all originate in your feet and legs. Want to learn more training tips and tricks like this? Look no further than @henry_nwoko for all your training needs. Killer time shooting with ya bud and learning all about your training and coaching techniques. "Anime Girl” from Ian Chantler.
This picture was taken at the 2017 Liverpool Comic Con. It was taken outdoors on a slightly overcast day. I had the flash power set at 1/8 or 1/16th power for some fill and the flash was pointed skywards with the top section of the FlashBender was folded over towards the subject.
The FlashBender really has given my portraiture work so much more kick and direction. It’s my favorite photo accessory. I have had it for quite a long time and I did wonder if the FlashBender would keep its rigidity with so much use. I am delighted to report its as good as new. I can't fault it.
Technical Information: Canon EOS 70D with a Canon EF24-105mm f/4L and a Canon Speedlite 430 EX II fitted with a Rogue Flashbender 2. Settings: ISO 200, f 5.6 at 1/125s, focal length 82 mm
The Raw file was uploaded to Photoshop and basic adjustments were made on various layers and masks. I used a split grad filter to colourise the left and right side of the image and a touch of dodging to bring out a few highlights.
This image has won acceptances in the following International Exhibitions PSA International 2017 and Onyx 2018 International Exhibition of Photography Romania.

It's @neilredfern again with another of my favourite images. Although I wouldn't wish it on my couples, I do like it when it rains at weddings, especially in the evening as rain can make for absolutely beautiful photographs. This shot, from Louise & Dan's wedding is one of my favourite rain shots. The set up was very simple, just one #offcameraflash speedlight behind the couple - there was enough detail from the ambient light to increase the exposure of Louise & Dan in post. Using an 85mm lens helped make the rain drops appear larger. As the rain was quite heavy, Dan was holding an umbrella, which I cloned out in post. Remember to tag your images with #thesecondshot for your chance to be featured #NikonD810, 85mm, 1/320th, f2.0, ISO200

This image was taken in the backroads of France. We stopped after finding this path lined by trees. Using a #profotob1 I was able to stop the motion of our subject and still leave a little movement in the veil.
