Started the journey to a healthier BW and life style on August 2017, never thought I would make it this far, got ups and downs and I had to really think who am I going to be in this world, who I want to be and where I am going on a day to day basis. You make choices, you regrets some or your proud that you made some.
Start BW 287 on August 2017
End BW 214 on April 2018 (weight in comp)
Did a 7 months keto (it will work if you do it properly) lost a ton of weight and some muscles tone and a bit of strength, then asked a good friend If he want to "coach" me for an undetermined time, I use "coach" because he is kinda a mentor to me and a good friend that kept me on the right way on the dark days. Anyway he said yes and we planned for April meet @ PEPS. I came in with the best body a ever had in my entire life. Not the highest total tho but the best wilks in my PL career. Just to let you know that we all start somewhere and all you gotta do is work it and believe on yourself.
Ended up with a 7/9 meet.
It's only the beginning.
Today I finished my second “Failed notebook”. I started creating failing notebook when I decided to start my own business. I have “only” one “Successes notebook” but without my failed I will be not hire now. If you want success you need to failed. Write it down and learn from it !

Caught up on life?
You look at it in every angle, you determine the best possible starting point to begin the untangling process. You start tugging from one end, suddenly you realize it's the wrong end. But, it's too late, you pulled to hard and too fast and now endless thoughts of possibilities begin streaming through your mind. Will it unfold perfectly just as you had first predetermined? Or will it knot up in exasperating ways that make you question your very existence about your entire life? Why me God? What was i thinking? How come it started off this way? Oooohhh, all I'm trying to do is get my power back!
Sometimes you hit it right on the target. Other times, you're caught up in tangles that you created yourself, getting your own self and perhaps others tangled up with you. All of this just to your power back!
What are your thoughts whenever you mess with these extension cords?
❤️ some thoughts on the journey I am on. I mean NO disrespect to anyone! This is about myself about healing from a lot of baggage and moving on appreciating my body and the strength it takes everyday to care for all that’s entrusted to me. Yes I will still wear makeup yes I will still wear a shaper WHEN I WANT TO. I will not allow those decorations however to compromise my comfort health or identity. 😊
DO THE SCALES MATTER? 🤔
When wanting to lose weight (body fat) a lot of people's focus is often on scale weight and how much you have lost.
The reality is WEIGHT is IRRELEVANT in the grand scheme of things.
Weight fluctuates on a DAILY BASIS and ISN'T the most accurate way of measuring your progress.
I could go to the toilet and have lost weight. Go for a run and lose weight. Starve myself for a week and lose weight. Control my food intake slowly overtime whilst increasing my exercise and lose weight...
Weight is WEIGHT. Yes you have lost 'weight' however you could have lost...
🔸️Glycogen (storage of sugars within the muscle)
NOT ALL WEIGHT IS BODY FAT.
Instead of saying "I want to lose weight" say "I want to lose body fat, feel fit, healthy and be more comfortable with the way I look"
This is a far more healthier approach to take as it's not setting you up for failure. If you focus solely on 'weight loss' you're ultimately going to have a negative relationship with your body and develop an obsessing over a number on scale!
Trust me I've been there and it ain't nice equating your self worth to a number on a scale. Scale number is down, you're happy. Scale number is up, you're unhappy.
A far more reliable and healthier way of tracking progress would be to:
🔸️Take body measurements (chest, waist, hips and legs)
🔸️Take progress photos (4-6 weeks apart to see noticeable changes)
🔸️Assess how well clothes fit (if they're looser, tighter etc.)
🔸️How you're feeling (Feeling fitter, healthier, more positive about the way you look etc.)
Ultimately the number on the scales is *drum roll*...a NUMBER!
Don't let it get you down. I know I don't and I try to educate my clients that scale weights means (to put it lightly) f all.
Don't focus on the scales too much. Once every 2 weeks max. Be more intuiatve with your own body, listening to how you're feeling (physically and mentally) about how you're progressing, rather than letting a number on a scale dictate your life.
Spread the word as I think alot of people need to hear this 👍🏻
