******🇬🇧 the best gift for a child (especially an SPD) is having the opportunity to discover the environment through the whole body: to know what it feels like to walk in the rain, to have your hands in deep mud, to feel sand or water over your legs. #sensoriale#sensoryprocessingdisorder#sensory#spd#spday#processing#respectful#body#discoverthroughplay#sperimentare#conoscere#corpo#piedinudi#barefoot#liberi#centrosferabianca#sferabiancashop
My rides home from work are therapeutic - especially in this gorgeous end-of-summer morning sun. I reflect on the overnight journey (that felt like it would never end) and look forward to my time at home with those I love (which never feels long enough)...all this to an epic soundtrack curated for me, by me. Sometimes I belt out the songs, sometimes I silently fume, sometimes I weep for a couple minutes. Whatever the mood, it's my passage from one reality to the next, and it's the meditation that smooths me out before I go to sleep. #nightnurse#catharsis#selfcare#processing#racinghome#nocnurseproblems#ifyouonlyknew
‘Change is a process, not an event’ (Susan David, 2017) Whether it’s your health, general wellbeing, mindset, beliefs about yourself or simply a life situation you’d like to change, I think it is so super important to know this. For me, it’s a process - striving to overcome limiting beliefs about myself, my story and the world I’m in, habitual thinking and dealing with anxiety has forced me to accept that change doesn’t happen overnight, and that there will be bumps in the road. We are all only human after all. Things happen, we face hard times, beliefs and thought patterns form, we try to protect ourselves as best we can when we need to. Change is possible even if just with small steps every day ‘Our brains care deeply about what we believe’ 💙
“Freedom grants the opportunity for greater meaning but, by itself, there’s nothing necessarily meaningful about it. Ultimately, the only way to achieve meaning & a sense of importance in one’s life is through a rejection of alternatives, making a choice.” New story, now live. 📷 @cassandramariecreative

〰Starting base- half head of VIRGIN regrowth, level 5 with brassy ends. Baby fine texture, not a lot of damage. 〰Full head foil, 20 vol with @olaplex and by full head I mean nearly back to back and all ends left out painted, incubated in foils and tucked up under the main foils.
〰Smudge root using @redken SEQ 5N/6T, 5 mins after all foils were rinsed, rinsed smudge root and applied SEQ 9p/9v/9n allover for 5 mins, rinsed and applied Olaplex #2. Her hair felt better after than it did before 👏🏻
