I myself wanted to create a website for myself as a music producer, so I started learning web development, I also wanted to learn how to create mobile applications, but I thought it will be too hard for me at start.
This was my way of approaching programming. Now if you're interested in starting learning, read my newest article on a blog today.
This will be a start of a series on my blog on learning programming.💪
My music in the background. Special thanks for my wife, she played the violin part.❤️
The hero image you choose to use is arguably one of the most important aspects of your website’s homepage.
Because it’s your users first impression of your brand and will likely determine whether or not the user bounces or sticks around to consume more of your content.
Check out this hero image which we created for @Hudl!
All illustrations that you see here are original and were designed with football (or soccer if you’re across the pond) in mind.
Note the live score updates that sit below the hero image, too.
We just loved working on this site.
It’s just a shame it only took us a week and a half to complete.

Here's an example of tequila middle segment of the @hudl World CUP microsite we made.
All the stats are pulled in from external sources using unique API's which means our client doesn't need to manually change them at all and all data is captured as it happens.
We're really happy with how this turned out.
It looks good, feels good and has proven easy for the client and their users to navigate on the front end and the back end.
You can't ask for much more than that.

"Should we kiss? I feel like we should kiss."
Here's a cheeky snapshot of 2/3 of our developers working as a team on the @hudl World Cup 2018 microsite.
Whilst we are fully capable of working autonomously, we really believe that communication is the key to a thriving working environment.
No idea is a bad idea and this philosophy really runs deep within the company ethos.
Ray Dalio said: "Bridgewater's success occurred because we created a real idea meritocracy in which the goal was to have meaningful work and meaningful relationships and the way we went after then was through radical truthfulness and radical transparency." When your values are mutually beneficial to all parties, work just doesn't feel like work and that's where the magic really happens.

"Who the **** is Jason?"
In this instance, we've used JSON files to edge two different data sets from multiple unique API's in order to facilitate a dynamically populated platform.
Doing so completely negates the need for content to be published manually to the microsite and instead syncs content uploaded to the clients chosen CMS for their main website.
Where else would JSON files prove useful?

Because the @hudl World Cup 2018 microsite is dynamically populated with any content and/or statistics that have been synced from their main website's CMS via API's, there's no need to manually upload ANYTHING during the ENTIRE competition.
Imagine the time they've saved!
We can think of multiple uses for this handy little development tool.
What are some other instances where you think API's would be useful?
