This day was definitely one of the best day of my life. It's amazing how God can turn mess into happiness. ☝️ Let me tell you a quick story. I came to North just to get my chances to be part of a reality show. But guess what, for the 2nd time around, I am rejected. I was so down and felt worthless. The standards are getting into my head that sometimes I feel like I want to cut my belly just to be fit. (Real deal, but I get over with that na)
But Jace never stopped telling me that all of the things that I am thinking are not true. There will come a time that I will be there and see that my prayers will be answered. After the auditions, I was so quiet and don't even have the appetite to eat. Little did I know he was looking for a day tour near Pampanga just to help me get over what happened and feel amazed by the scenery. Tbh, instantly I got over of the rejections I am facing and just be amazed on how something can be naturally beautiful. ❤
So listen, rejections are just there to let you fight more. But it's not there to let you feel that you are not beautiful. If you are reading this, I want you to know that you are like that beautiful scenery. You.. are naturally beautiful.
I absolutely love their story. Meghan Markel was raised by her mother a #dignified, social worker/yoga teacher in #LosAngeles. Meghan, a #biracial#divorcee became an #actress but struggled for many years because she wasn’t black enough or white enough for many of the roles in #Hollywood. That only made her #stronger, she did not quit, she eventually gained a role where she worked for 8 years on the same show, #suits. When she met her husband to be, she was finally #established in her #career and doing well for herself. They met as a #blind date. They spent 6 months under the radar and under the stars in Africa getting to know each other, #longwalks on his #grandmothers compound at the #WindsorCastle, it was then that they discovered their love for people through #humanitarianefforts such as AIDS in Africa and their #desire for creating change in the world. She had to be #approved by the #QueenofEngland which is another story but so intriguing... #royalstandards are so high! If she had not overcome her personal #rejections and have a #mission in life that she owned in her #heart, she would not have been fit for her #Prince. Q: What if we raised the #standards for our #children especially our young girls? After my failed marriage, I decided not to enter in or entertain dating or relationships to focus on me, assess who I am, and change my standards in myself and what I desire as a whole. That happened through new and better information that I was exposed to. Hence, why I started this page and am on a mission to understand my #worth and help other women do the same. I am grateful to be exposed to what is possible...”𝒾𝒻 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒷𝑒𝓁𝒾𝑒𝓋𝑒” ✨
You should never be embarrassed of rejections, with the exception of ones that say this. I didn’t do enough research obviously. He was nice about it, but if you pitch something a publication just ran, it does not look good. 🤦🏼♀️ I forgive myself. #rejections#writersofinstagram#writerslife

Rejection has been something I personally struggled with for years. It was so hard to deal with because I had this need to be accepted and loved and when I didn't get it I just felt like giving up on life!
Since I was a little kid I was always craving love and acceptance. All I wanted was to fit in but never did and I felt like a loser and most of all felt unloved. Then I ended up hating myself and wanted to change everything about myself because I thought that if I wasn't like me anymore then maybe I could be accepted. It was just a never ending cycle.
I felt rejected at school, by the friends I had, when I was modelling and was unsuccessful many times at job castings. - Constantly I was being rejected and I always felt like something was wrong with me rather than "it" not being right for me.
Now I look back at all those times I was rejected and I learnt so many valuable lessons that have helped me in life. The rejections guided me to what I am meant to be doing and what I suit which is what I'm doing now. I just didn't realise it at the time but things happen for a reason and if I wasn't rejected I may have become someone different, someone I don't want to be.
Life is full of rejections, it's full of ups and downs, it's full of mistakes and imperfections. Realise that there is a much bigger plan for you at play here and trust that things will happen the way they're meant to in their own time. A "mistake" or a "rejection" doesn't define you - they help you grow as a person & become someone amazing! 😘 . #emilyskye #emilyskyefit
I am now happy that I can see things in a better #perspective. All those pains, hurts and #rejections which was engulfing me, found its way out through the art. Initially my #art was just about reproducing the moments which I badly wanted back or which haunted me. I have now learned to observe new experiences in my life, in its finest details. Finally learning to #move on.
#Spring has made my #workplace so beautiful which attracts anyone's heart. I told one of my student (Harmankalra) who is really good in his photography, to capture it. I reproduced it using #watercolour. I cherished each moment of doing this. Appreciating the #beauty of #nature, #pinkness of flowers and the #happiness it spreads to all people who go there.
