I fell in love with theater when I saw my first show at age three. I grew up watching the Tony Awards on my television. My heart and soul is so happy to be living in New York pursuing my dreams as an artist. No matter where I go in life, this moment... this perfect moment will stay with me. #haveyouseensomeonehappier#tonyawards#remainingcalm#thewineishelping I also have to give a big thank you to my mom. She believed that exposing her children to the arts was important to our development as human beings. Endlessly thanking you for that gift, mom. #shesmyhero

It’s the start of the GCSEs and sats tests this week. Both my boys are involved in these! I don’t know who’s more nervous! I think it’s quite possibly me... I’m remaining as calm as I can and baking, reassuring them and giving them a personal boost as much as I can so they remain positive and calm! ... #parenting
Vulnerability: Loyalty: RAWNESS: Thoughts on the year of the dog. 🐕 🐩🐾Yesterday I went to Abiquiu with my dude on a much needed, much overdue fishing trip. Things have been hard and stressful and we needed a reprieve. We were also celebrating the anniversary of sweet Kobe’s (Tyler’s dog’s) untimely and tragic death. On our way to fish we stopped at the animal shelter just to get some joys. There, Tyler fell in love with a sweet black lab pup. Then and there after an hour of play with my Maggie, making the pro con list, dwelling on all the downsides and hardships of bringing a new puppy into life, Tyler adopted him! So, stoked, we continued on to Abiquiu. We hiked down the beach quite a ways and were having a good sunset sesh, when Maggie ATE THE BAIT ALONG WITH THE HOOK it was attached to. Horrified we rushed to get her to a vet in fear that the hook would puncture her intestine. 3 vets later, a lot of money, a lot of tears, a lot of driving and a lot of fear —- the hook came out with an endoscopic surgery. FUCK YALL. Dogs are our babies, they are our pals, they teach us so much about joy and mortality and loyalty. Im feeling insane and I think these things are a rite of passage. I feel like a mom now. The pain is so real of not being able to do anything for these innocent beings.THIS IS THE YEAR OF THE DOG. These lessons are continual themes of unconditional love and pride and loyalty. I just want to give praise to the dog homies in this world and want to appreciate everything that their sweet medicine can teach us. THANK YOU 🐕 what the hell are we doing anyway? Just enjoy the moments and give them the best life #breathing#remainingcalm#mercuryretrograde
Through thick and thin, I metamorphose. Sometimes you might’ve found myself fluctuations sad and happy by genuine thing called relationship; With or without people I am devoted. I struggle how to overcome thing when it gets hard. I argue, I cry, I separate, I find, I transform but that’s life. Nothing’s in life has to be perfect. The best ways are to accept, forgive, and move to another phase of life with a new spirit. No more regret nor mad is required due previous life was already destined. I’ll be with present. I am no longer deserve the damaged things. I am sure if when I open a new phase means writing a new book is all about. It is not my responsibility as well as capability whenever possible another unintended reader dislike the story itself, because I am writing the interpretations one, the genuine one. No doubt, the very version of mine. Which is mine, the truest and/or purest. #RemainingCalm#LoveandForgive
What a crappy start to the week!
Not only was it snowing, baby had a hospital appointment this morning but as I got into the car (ahead of schedule) my car wouldn't start....🙈 I couldn't get hold of the hospital to cancel the appointment, I had to wait for the breakdown man to arrive to diagnosis the problem. Turns out my battery was flat. 😤 He managed to get it started but advised that I have the battery replaced today and ideally not turn the engine off just incase it wouldn't restart again. So with the engine running, hubby (via work) managed to get me booked into our local KwikFit. So sat in @kwikfit_uk for about an hour whilst they replaced my battery for an excellent price and travelled back home just after lunch and thw school run 🏃😰. Luckily, my sister is currently visiting so I didn't need to take baby with me.
Today went way too fast and I didn't manage to do anything I needed to. Cars are great, until they let you down....🚗😔 But all fixed, tomorrow will be more positive!! 😩🤦🤜
Well if you’re planning on heading to my site today www.prettysmitten.com —- it’s down. And I have NO IDEA why 🤔😳😳Lets just say the techie stuff is not my forte! Eeek! Was planning on adding these adorable pics of Amelia and Charlotte at the beach to the blog today, but for now sharing a few here will have to do... #remainingcalm#fingerscrossed#sendhelp
Because not much goes according to plan...🤦🏻♀️
I was not pleased and my blood started to boil...since I raced to get the kids to get to a 4:15 appointment in time, to see this friendly note! 🤬 .
Managed to get kid 2 home and back here with kid 1 by 5pm!! .
I was not pleased but did have to admit that I was a lot calmer and could let it roll off my back a lot easier than I used to...score 1 point for working out and keeping my stress levels down!! Woohoo 🎉🎉
It’s been a CRAZY day and it’s only just begun!!!! My hair and non-matching clothes say it all (I have orange leggings on lol)!!! So, it all started when I must have literally shut my alarm clock OFF..yep, overslept!!! Now I feel like I have so many things to do and literally NO time to do it!!!! Ahhh!!!!! Yeah, I’m a hot mess today and I’m probably not going to have my ish together at all today..but at least I have nice hot cup of coffee to keep me warm on this cold autumn morning, right?! Plus, I even got the kids to school on time 👍 which is a HUGE bonus!!!!
Today's flat continues with the traveling theme. I take melatonin nightly to help me sleep. It's the lowest dosage, and it works well. This week, I'll have to double up the afternoon before my trip because I have a ridiculously early flight. The neroli oil helps to calm and relax me. I've been using it for the past four months. I will use it heavily the day before my trip so that I can relax enough to take a nap. I get so excited when I travel that it's hard for me to relax. How do you prepare for a trip? .
