You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.

Traveling series I. Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur is a city full of contrasts. Once you arrive there you are only required to do one thing: look up and admire the influence the skyscrapers have over the city. The Petronas Twin Towers play peek-a-boo with the surrounding buildings, as they impressively remain the crown jewel of the city. 🌁
It is very enriching hearing Malay, Cantonese, Mandarin and English, amongst other languages, blending together in the streets. I feel like I am absorbing more than a new culture, but a new way of seeing life.
Today is going to be hot, but a great day.
Auckland in the midst of the thunder storm with a splash of hail the other day. So moody, so unpredictable.

Finally saw my first sunny day in the wintery Auckland. Happy to soak in the sun after getting completely soaked yesterday by what I call “the slap in the face storm” that made me look like Hela from Ragnarok of when she walked out of exile.

My baby kitty 🐱 is 13 today! In cat years, she’s retiring today, which makes her the eldest of the family 😂
13 years ago, we found her and her 2 identical brothers outside our place, in a dusty rubbish box. We thought they were rats considering it was 3 mini black fluff balls. After taking another look, turned out to be 3 wee new born kittens.
The mother was nowhere to be seen at the time so we took them home (it was a cold wintery evening just like tonight). And later that night, their mum came and scratched at our door. So we took her on too.
Sadly, her mum and brothers thought they were too cool for us so they left after a year. But our Coco bean decided to stay. And I’m glad she did ❤️

Didn’t think this pic will make the cut because of how revealing my outfit was. But hey, I fixed it. Also, bravery points for Heather and I because that water, my friends, are snow melt. Aka, 4 f****** degrees. We dunk and swam and ran out of the stream screaming because our bodies were FROZEN! Nonetheless, best experience and the best way to end my Canada visit.

I would totally bungy off this bridge.

Don’t go chasing waterfalls, or do. This is the magnificent Montmorency Fall in Quebec. Absolutely magnificent! Though it’s smaller by width but it’s actually higher than the famous neighboring Niagara Falls. We were complete soaked by its mist when we tried to get closer but it felt absolutely amazing. Officially listing it as one of the favourite places in Canada.

I’m laughing because 2 seconds prior of this photo, I got hit by that door 🚪

Bonjour de Québec, je suis amoureux de cet endroit. même si je dois prétendre que je peux parler français 😜

Cobble stone streets, century old buildings, vintage decors, French signs, artisan cuisine, hipster yet stylish locals and copious amount of maple syrup. What’s not to love in Montreal? Oh yea, the crappy weather ☔️

Floating houses at Fisherman’s Wharf seems intriguing and magical when I first saw it. I was surprised to find out that people actually live in it. When I stepped onto the deck, it’s the same feeling as stepping onto an unstable wharf. Constantly unsteadiness while walking around, sitting in a cafe, taking pictures made me rather anxious. How do the people feel when they are living in it 24/7?

Victoria reminds a bit of Vienna. City full of regal architecture and friendly locals.

Not sure if this was designed to mock Vancouver’s climate ☔️ “the city of rain” or designed to be useful when it does rain. Either way, great colours in contrast to the old brick buildings.

Vancouver public library or the colosseum 🤔

Vancouver at 10pm, beautiful.

The greatest gift to a traveller is when you stumble upon a beautiful place whilst roaming the streets and meet some of the greatest souls you would never have otherwise. Thanks to the talented @joel___alvarez for taking this stunning picture for me. How gorgeous is this Chinese garden in the middle of Chinatown, Vancouver city centre.

What I got out of 3 days at a remote island cabin: relaxation, stress free, loads of junk food and crap photos.

590/60 - Just got back to Vancouver after spending 3 days on the island with no phone signal and internet. At first I thought it would be very difficult to live without internet connection, social media (my beloved Instagram) and talking to people on my phone. But 3 days gone by, it was surprisingly easy. I didn’t feel like grabbing my phone and check social media at all and just really enjoyed my time with friends beside me, animals (pet and wild) and nature. But I’m happy to be back in the real world and getting hungry for poutine.

Never in my life that I’ve celebrated going into summer with a snowball. But it certainly made up the fact that I didn’t get a ‘white’ but sunny Christmas 3 years ago in Vancouver.

I was the only weirdo on the mountain that wasn’t dressed in proper hiking gear. For the record, I didn’t think it was cold. But my toes were frozen for a few minutes from walking in the snow.

Banff town centre. My second favourite town in the world (first being Queenstown, always). Whoever named the streets of Banff is absolutely adorable. We drove through Otter street, Elk Street, Bear Street, Moose Street, Beaver street and the list goes on. One magical thing about Banff town is that the town itself is surrounded by mountains. So every direction you look when you stand in the middle of the town you will see great, big, snowcapped mountains.

Ice ice baby 🤪 I think everyone who first arrived at Lake Louise was surprised by the thick layer of ice on the turquoise lake. Since we are heading into summer and the sunshine in Banff was phenomenal. Unlike the ordinary ice you seen on lakes in wintery days. This one was sparkling, crisp and shined like a bed full of diamonds.
