C’est ce genre de défis qui te fait grandir et te prouve que quand on veut dans la vie on peut, suffis simplement d’avoir le mental !
Long run day! Pretty happy with this one. I felt comfortable the whole time. I've been experimenting with chews. I've been taking one every 2 miles but I think that might be too often. It felt like I was constantly talking them in a relatively short long run. I might try them every 3 miles next weekend. .
I ran a short and slower 1.9 miles to test out my injured foot/ankle whatever it is. It felt good, so I will see how it feels tomorrow and then go from there. I want to start running again! #run#runner#momswhorun#runningmom#running

Can't do lower body day because of a knee or foot injury? NO PROBLEM! Do what you can!
Can't do upper body because if a shoulder injury? NO PROBLEM! Do what you can.
Most of all.. don't be discouraged. Change happens with a positive mindset.
I won't be running, jumping or doing anything high impact for atleast a few more weeks.
I chose 6 weeks ago not to let that detail me...and I've lost almost 20 lbs since! It is all a mindset guys!

On the day of the Western States 100 mile race, we’re thinking of when 2015 champ Magda Boulet came to practice last season! Magda shared some invaluable advice about overcoming hardships with our students and joined us for a run around the lake. Chilled out day for me, had a little snooze too 😴 Done some foam rolling and a few stretches and feel better for it 😀 Looking forward to tomorrow’s North Downs run, the weather looks good although would of preferred a little cooler! No pressure run for me tomorrow I just want to enjoy it and it’s all part of my long term plan to become a stronger runner👊🏻 Kit all ready to go although not sure I will need trail shoes, still undecided 🤷♀️ Happy Saturday 😀
