Is anyone else still riding a high from the weekend!? 🎉🙃 🎊
I wish I could bottle the feeling of the post-race euphoria I’ve been experiencing since Saturday morning! Beautiful weather, excellent event organization by @runcrs & @lululemonto, amazing crowd support......and, a new PB! I think I’m even more excited because it was my first race in a few months, and, I had all of this pent-up energy! Lol
I’m not sure when my next race will be, but, at the very least, I’m hoping to crack a couple of half’s by the end of the year! 🤞🏻 On another note, I’ve been very fortunate to have met a number of amazing & kind people IRL (at expos, coffee meet ups, at races....and, even in the start corrals!), including @fysiosportcoach@jojodrinwater@junctiondad@jeffaran@genieinabtl and @michaelmannozzi. If you’re looking for more interesting & inspiring people, you should definitely follow them!
If you’ve also met Insta-friends IRL, tag them below as I’m always looking to connect with other great people!
Time for me to head home to prepare for a BIG week! I hope you all kick ass in the day’s ahead, &, as always, stay safe & have fun with your running!
Muita gente quer começar a treinar, mas não consegue, e não é a falta de vontade muitas vezes, mas o mais difícil é conseguir organizar seu tempo.
Se liga na minha pequena rotina do primeiro dia da semana:
🏖️06:30 - 09:30
E olha que eu preciso ainda me organizar uns 95% melhor.
Please fix my watch or respond to my email about my watch deficiencies. This was a 6.5 mile route. I can assure you that at no time I was running through a lake, running at a 15min/mi pace, and I can bet my life that I was never running at a 45sec/mile pace either. Yet I saw those numbers and everything inbetween during this run. The last mile of the run was a straightaway, and it still lost my pace. I tried using GPS + GLONASS and different orientations of the watch. Still, inaccuracy.
I paused the watch after it said I hit 6 miles, took a minute break, and jogged the last “.2”. It had my pace at 5:05/mile when I was jogging no faster than 9/mile 🙄.
I know this sounds petty, but I did not spend a large sum of money for an “estimate” of my pace and miles ran. My original Vivoactive had no issues with my pace or GPS, but my Vivoactive 3 has been so frustrating with this and I’ve barely had it for a week.
In the meantime, does anyone else have any issues with their GPS watches? Which watch brand do you use? And if any of you have a VA3, have you had any of these issues?!?

Soaking up one of my last "free to do what I want" runs before Fall marathon training officially picks up!!😉
Super excited and kinda freaking out at the same time -- but in the same breath I'm just SO excited to start putting in the work again and see where this training cycle takes me.💙
Hej!
