Finally got my hands on a Bill Rowan medal at the #comradesmarathon! Bettered my time by almost 1 hour and 20 minutes to run a 8:05 over 91kms. This was all due to aerobic training, focusing on running consistently with a low heart rate and fat adaptation through a low carb diet which has the terrible side effect of no nausea on the loooong runs and consistent energy all day😋. I'm also super chuffed to have redeemed my run from last year (although I still have a date with the "up" run - which is the one I duffed last year). Congrats to all who participated - the "down" run is tough on the body so we'll all be hurting together tomorrow, but at least it's a good hurt 😉. #lowcarbathlete#mafmethod
