Over the past ten months or so, I’ve been seriously slacking on running with any kind of consistency. I’ve been stretching myself and pushing outside my comfort zone with my career and my work projects instead. And I can tell that’s affected both my overall mental and physical health.
With my biggest (and most challenging) work project wrapping up this week, I decided it was time to refocus on me and my personal goals. Mother Nature didn’t make it easy though. But when you’ve decided it’s time to make a change, you don’t want to wait another day to get started. So instead I channeled my inner Des Linden and splashed out a couple rainy miles to start my day. I’m starting to get excited about what’s ahead!
My stationary bike is taunting me: "Push it girl! Can't you push harder?!" 😂 Urgh cross training is not my favorite, but I'm determined to stay injury free :) ... also, Happy Memorial Day Weekend to the Americans out there!
