Summer sunsets are one of my favourite parts of Vancouver, and seeing them from the middle of English bay takes them to a new level.
Following this we discovered that our running light connection had corroded so we entered false creek with flashlights shining through our reds and greens. #boatlife#svsardonyx#sailing#beautifulbc

Photo prise lors de mon tour en avion au dessus des magnifiques coraux ! Inoubliable expérience 🐠✈️
‘In November, Lecomte hopes to paddle and kick all the way to San Francisco, becoming the first person to swim across the Pacific Ocean, an extraordinary transcontinental quest that’s equal parts adventure and science experiment.’
Thanks for the coverage Washington Post, read their article on our Facebook page.
Our pedal drive project is plowing ahead with less than 3 weeks until the #racetoalaska start line. TBD if we’ll pull it together in time 🤞🤞🤞, but to give us a fighting chance I’ve called my very old, very first mountain bike into service and promptly murdered it. This bike has seen things, man. Together we survived learning how to ride the North Shore badly, getting hit by cars twice, commuting between kitchen jobs and dinghy coaching jobs and school, backcountry bike-camping expeditions in BC and so much more. Ol’ Red had a hard but good life, and the least creative name of any of my inanimate objects. Now it’s time he goes to sea!
Sailing at sunset on a chilly spring evening. I felt really content out here. In high school I used to have intense and beautiful dreams about the ocean and it occupied my mind a lot. The dreams are gone but still most days when I close my eyes for a moment my mind goes directly to the sea.
Spending my last night on board admiring the open ocean and the stars one last time as we sail into Singapore (as seen in the distance), ready for my disembarkment and start on my new journey. Ship life has been a cool experience, and I've met some amazing people and been lucky enough to see some amazing places, but the job just wasn't for me. Exactly 3 months on board and its time for a new adventure. A few days in Singapore and Sydney and then off to my new home in Queenstown, NZ, for some winter fun! Get me back to the mountains ⛰❄
Sail Away ⛵️
My wishful thinking today. It’s remembering experiences like this that keeps me going even after I think I can’t take any more, how amazing is travel?! Who else has a count down until their next trip?? 44 days to go 🤗
