So we’re at a rental house in Sarasota, chillin in the pool, lookin at the lizards, talking about going snake hunting, and as I’m watching one of the lizards, a black racer dives out of the bushes and snatches him! He ate him whole in about 35 seconds! When I grabbed the snake I expected him to spit the little anole back out, but nope, he just slurped him right down. It was odd, as pictured first, that when he grabbed him, there was no constriction. Much like an Indigo, he just killed the lizard with the pure relative strength of his jaws. Damn nature, you scary! #nature#snake#reptiles#herp#herping#herper#anole#coluberconstrictor#coluber#constrictor#beach#sarasota#outdoorsman#outdoors#snakes
How do you do Taco Tuesday? I get a lot of questions on how I stay “slim” and eat like I do. A lot of times I make trade offs, like using a romaine leaf instead of a taco shell and limiting my amount of avocado so I can have some cheese! For me it’s all about trade offs and 99% of the time you see me posting a cheat meal, I do not eat the whole thing, I rarely even eat half. There are a lot of people who think you can eat as much “health” food as you want though and stay trim but that is just not the case. At the end of the day, your actual weight is effected by your caloric intake/deficit. Which is why I never say no to a few bites of Mac n cheese or a brownie. Eating healthy is great and if you have the discipline to do it all the time that’s awesome. But if you’re not losing weight at the rate you want, take a look at your caloric intake. Portion size and trade offs are how I find balance.
