morning cleanse to start this beautiful Saturday🌻 + a few first impressions & insight
🥝 #meetblume * day dreamer super gentle face wash; free of gluten, aluminum, parabens, sulfates, alcohol, artificial fragrance- cruelty free, organic & vegan! This creamy cleanser soothes, hydrates, diminish redness & removes make up(which I haven’t tried yet since I don’t wear much make up). A few of the ingredients include coconut oil, jojoba, chamomile, lavender & geranium(treats acne, reduce inflammation, alleviate anxiety & balance hormones). I used about 2 pumps & in massaged this onto my damp face in circular motion. As I was cleansing I noticed it doesn’t foam, its aroma is very light & natural(which I love how it smells), & after I pat my face dry my face felt so soft! This cleanser is $14USD 120ml, 4fl oz
🥝 #paulaschoice ** 2% BHA
🥝 #lush tea tree water toner; contains tea tree(obvi), juniper berry, & grapefruit water to luminize & refresh the complexion. It’s vegan, cruelty free, gluten free, & alcohol free so it doesn’t leave the skin feeling dry/tight. I spritzed this on my clean/dry face after cleansing & pat this into my skin with my hands rather than using a cotton pad to remove the excess(as it says on the bottles instructions). Typically tea tree products are strong in its natural scent which many people aren’t a fan of, but the scent is light & I’d say not bothersome to those who stray away from tea tree
🥝 #olivarrier * dual moist hyaluron essence
🥝 #belif moisturizing eye bomb
🥝 #meetblume * meltdown acne treatment; I talk a bit about this in my previous post
🥝 #dermae scar gel
🥝 #coachellanaturals#dermapeutics California glow serum
🥝 #sundayriley tidal brightening water cream
🥝 #pixi ** hydrating milky mist

The @caudalie x @lookfantastic box has been my favorite beauty box purchase ever! The theme was "Mixology", and here's the skincare cocktail that I've been loving as a twice weekly night cap:
.🍇I squeeze a few drops of the Makeup Removing Cleansing Oil into my hands. I warm it up in my palms, then add some of the Deep Cleansing Exfoliator. It's a soft exfoliating cleanse for those nights where I feel like using a clay mask, but can't be bothered to wait 15 minutes.
.🍇The Cleansing Oil is made of sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, and sunflower seed oil. It removes makeup and is a bit creamier than my cleansing oil from Kosé, which makes it feel more luxurious (which it should, based on price tag).
.🍇The Deep Cleansing Exfoliator has small corn beads and grape pulp extract. They feel like little round balls in the cream. I focus on my t-zone, which can get oily. My face feels really smooth and hydrated afterward, and I feel like the serums I use later in my routine work better.
.🍸There are still other goodies in this box that I have yet to review, but until then - What's your favorite skincare cocktail?
Make #TheRoseMist 🌹💦 your beach bag must have for smooth, hydrated skin all summer! ☀️🌊🍹

I keep coming back to this simple Klairs routine. I've tried numerous great products from other brands, but there's just something about Klairs that my skin loves ❤️ I particularly like this soothing and brightening routine (in the photo) when I don't have any active acne. I wish my skin were always acne-free so I can do this routine more often. But my skin IS acne-prone, so I still really need to use other products, like BHAs, spot treatments, clay masks, etc. I wonder if @klairs.global is ever gonna come out with AHAs, BHAs, and spot treatments. I'd be the first one to snag them if they do. But for now, I'll just have to use my @cosrx ones for the products Klairs still doesn't have.
Note: It breaks my heart when the products I rave about don't work for others, especially when they bought them because they read about them on my blog/Instagram and they had high hopes that the products will work for them the same way they did for me. Our skin may respond differently to the products we use, so please always remember that YMMV (your mileage may vary). And do check out my previous post, "How To Incorporate New Products In A Routine," if you're trying out new products for the first time. I just thought of mentioning this here for expectations management.
What fruits are in your skincare routine this week? 🍆🍠

Hydration in a jar 💦 This age-defying mask works wonders on the face. It's power? It's enriched with the detoxifying powers of blueberries that encourage cell regeneration and growth of healthy new skin cells. The solution to prevent damage this summer!! #beautymusthave
sharing my night time routine
I have been digging my flash picture but I would really love pictures with amazing mr sun so I shall take some in the day tomorrow & NOT PROCRASTINATE again
It’s has been a staple to my everyday routine, I just love it more and more every single day!! Super non-stripping & smells absolutely yummy
I have been loving this as it’s super gentle so it’s great for my sensitive skin heh
Centella blemish cream
This has been a staple in my routine every since I got it, I use it on spot treatment it reduces the redness, treats blemishes & it really gentle
Some thought that we should apply it on our entire face but it’s really hard for the cream to blend into our skin so just apply to your spots would do it
I would do a in depth review once I empty it
CORSX honey mask
Super moisturising, has a cooling effect & it reduces redness, I just started using it so I can’t say a lot HAHAH
The Progressive Peel system from #beautyrx aims to gently and effectively slough away your layer of dead skin to reveal a brighter, smoother, and even-toned skin and help decrease the appearance of pores and fine lines.
The system is a bit complicated to use. It includes the Advanced 10% Exfoliating Pads and the Essential 8% Exfoliating Serum. For the first two weeks, the serum is to be used every night. On the first night of week 3, use only the pads. On the second night, use only the serum then continue alternating the pads and the serum nightly for the next two weeks.
The Advanced 10% Exfoliating Pads contain 50 cotton pads soaked in 10% strength glycolic acid, tetrafoliant (a special mix of lactic acid, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and phytic acid only exclusive to the brand) to improve texture and tone, willowherb to soothe the skin, and japanese green tea extract to protect the skin against free radical damage while reducing the signs of ageing and sun damage. The Essential 8% Exfoliating Serum is a glycolic treatment that also contains the Tetrafoliant to removes dead cells.
The serum was a joy to use. It's almost waterlike and feels very lightweight. This is helped my oily skin and kept my face bright and hydrated the first of use. It has a clear and oil-free consistency. The second week, the pads made my whole face feel like it was a Crepes Suzette. Fortunately, the pain doesn’t last long and your skin feels immediately soft after. When I started alternating the serum and the pads, all my acne had dried up beautifully. In my second week, my bumps were close to gone. All that was left to remember them by were the dark spots that were slowly being diminished. After a month, I didn’t have to cake my concealer anymore.
The promise to reveal healthy and glowing skin while addressing oily skin problems and acne, and it delivered.

@elizabetharden you have returned and made me and my skin happy the Ceramide Skin Capsules will be reviewed soon on my blog - I’ve used them before and they don’t disappoint. @emmahardieskincare new launch & addition to the Midas Touch family, the Revitalising Eye Serum, I’m loving the texture, ease of application & it’s great around the lip area too. A huge love, massive, enormous, tremendous love for @mono_naturoils Serenity Blue Tansy Facial Oil - is beyond skincare, it soothes and calms my skin, that for me, is alchemy at its best. #skincare#skincareroutine#skincareblogger#prmayfeature#instabeauty
Fav serum at the moment!! Drops of Youth Concentrated Serum from @thebodyshop is so amazing✨ I usually put it on after washing my face and just before moisturizer. Since my skin is so dry, my face tends to dry out after washing it. This serum brings back moisture to my face and I’ve noticed my pores are smaller and my skin is smoother.
Thank you @bthreebalm for sending me these wonderful products to try! 🌿 This natural and organic skincare company donates a portion of their proceeds to support civil rights organizations. The facial oil I am absolutely obsessed with! The packaging is so pretty, if you hold it up to a light it turns into a rainbow colored bottle (you can't tell in this pic because it's taken indoors). The ingredients are clean and simple - jojoba oil, prickley pear oil, 100% pure squalane oil and grapefruit seed oil. The consistency of this oil is surprisingly not as greasy as I am used to in most facial oils. It's very quick absorbing and easy to massage into the skin. The oil has a delightful, sweet scent and can be used as a serum or moisturizer to provide hydration, nourishment and promote elasticity or can be used as a primer underneath makeup. I haven't tried using it as a primer, but as a serum it's absolutely perfect for my combo, acne prone, sensitive skin. The two balms consist of beeswax, cocoa butter, coconut oil and castor oil. The scent of these balms is equally as delicious and sweet as the facial oil. I really love the consistency of these balms, they're a perfect remedy for dry, chapped lips and definitely a new summer essential for me. The body balm is consists of the same ingredients as the lip balms but with a higher concentration of coconut oil. It smells absolutely heavenly! Think raw coconut oil that's been melted down and mixed with chocolate. It goes onto the skin so smoothly and I really enjoy using the balm after I get out of the shower. All of the products are incredible - from the delicious scent and luxurious consistency, to the clean and simple ingredient lists. Definitely a brand to look out for!! --

Recently dropped by @drcilabo.sg’s flagship store at ION to check out their #SkinEquation experience, where I learnt a lot about my skin’s moisture levels and how to improve them through a dermatology-grade Skin Equation Meter and its Skin Equation Metrics App. I found that while most of my skin’s moisture levels were balanced and around the average mark, my cheeks and neck fared below average (too dry). .
That said, I’ll be trialing my new #DrCiLabo regime over the next few weeks and will update you guys on the results after! P.S. Don’t forget to try out the experience for yourself at ION, Basement 3 – it’s completely free! #DCL#BeautyPrescribed
