Practicing the “AHA”
How many times have I had an insight, an “aha” moment of realization that was so profound that I wrote it down? I have notebooks and journals filled with such moments. While writing them down and feeling them in the moment is awesome, the real juice is in the practicing of the “Aha”. A Truth is a Truth but it is realized and experienced only to the degree it becomes Real to the individual. Simply, we get out what we put in. Developing a practice around moments of expanded awareness puts roots into the soil of our consciousness that strengthen us through the challenges this world can bring.
Here’s your invitation for practicing the “AHA.” Gently close your eyes as you pause and reflect on a moment of realization that you’ve had. Maybe it was during a sermon, maybe it was a conversation with a trusted friend; maybe it was something you heard or read. Bring it into your awareness. Put it in your own words and sit with it for a few moments. Feel gratitude well up within you and first give thanks that this “aha” broke through all the noise and clamor of your own mind. Then contemplate the Truth of this “aha”; feel where it resides in your body. Maybe it’s your solar plexus, maybe the heart or somewhere else. Once located, receive deep breaths into that space. Feel it fill you up from that space as it overflows into and through your entire body. As you exhale, send this “Aha” deep into the earth; visualize it forming a deep and strong root structure ten feet beneath you and expanding. Visualize your exhale also expanding out, above and around you creating an entire atmosphere encircling you. Receive and release several of these deep breaths repeating the visualization. Once again give thanks for the “aha” as you open your eyes and move into your next activity. Practice makes permanent! Have a blessed day! #everydayenlightenment365#practice#ahamoment#spiritual#realization#meditation
Stop. Take pause for yourself. Give yourself the love and respect you deserve but often neglect. Place one hand on your heart and one on your belly. Take 5 mindful, slow breaths. Inhale, filling up the lower abdomen first, then expanding through the ribs. Exhale, the controlled breath from the ribs first, then the belly, all the way to the lowest part of the abdomen, releasing every last bit of air. Do this five time. Do this when ever you feel anxious, stressed, jealous, angry, I promise it will make a difference. Do this when you feel happy, excited, filled with love, I promise it will make a difference. It will calm any feelings that aren’t truly who we are (anything other than love) and it will enhance everything that you are, allowing your high on life to become even more amplified 💗 Let me know below👇🏼 what you noticed when you did this pranayama (breathing) exercise. I challenge you to do this every morning when you first wake up. I challenge you to become aware and notice how it changes your world. Who’s with me? 🙋♀️

It took me years to understand that this too, was a gift”- Mary Oliver
Still knee deep in madness trying to get ready for #powderhornartfair. I’m the kind of person of “ go big or go home” so I’m attempting to pull of all different type things. I’ve got two weeks left 🤣 and half way done. .
This is a ethically sourced fox skull adorned with labradorite and rainbow moonstones. And I couldn’t be more proud of this. I will have it available for the fair. But don’t worry I will be making more after the fair.
Being spiritual isn't exactly a "glamourous" process...
Nowadays, everyone wants to be some sort of "psychic", or "instagram witch". As if it's a trend.
We didn't ask for this life path.
It chose us. 🌻🌌🕉

A spirit is the inner most nature of a man that gives the body life. A spirit of a man is either DEAD or ALIVE, disregarding the active life of the soul and physical flesh on earth...Your body isn’t the real you. The Spirit in you is ...
MAN has always been a spirit, never the body. At birth, God loaned him a body for his life on earth, and when he returned home, he would have to relinquish it again. His soul was the connecting link between the spirit and the body, and it would take both the good and the bad experiences from here into the world beyond. The soul is the bearer of the divine spark, and the instant a person attunes himself to faith in God, the connection to God is established. But if the soul closes in disbelief, the contact with God is severed.
The body is, therefore, not the essential part of man, but merely the earthly shell for the spirit and soul. So when the body dies, this is not the end, as many people nowadays believe. Life continues. It is not bound to the body.
The question is WHERE IS YOUR SPIRIT CONNECTED TO?

Generally Shiva is referred to as the ultimate man, he is the symbolism of ultimate masculinity, but you will see in the Ardhanarishvara form of Shiva, one half of him is a fully developed woman. Let me tell you the story of what happened. Shiva was in an ecstatic condition and because of that, Parvati was drawn to him. After Parvati did many things to woo him and sought all kinds of help, they got married. Once they were married, naturally, Shiva wanted to share whatever was his experience. Parvati said, “This state that you are in within yourself, I want to experience it too. What should I do? Tell me. I am willing to do any kind of austerity.” Shiva smiled and said, “There is no need for you to do any great austerity. You just come and sit on my lap.” Parvati came and with absolutely no resistance towards him, sat on his left lap. Since she was so willing, since she had placed herself totally in his hands, he just pulled her in and she became half of him.
You need to understand, if he has to accommodate her in his own body, he has to shed half of himself. So he shed half of himself and included her. This is the story of Ardhanarishvara.
