Growing up I had many friends but never a best friend - someone who I did everything and anything with.
Until.... 3 years ago I found this gem who I’m so happy to call my best friend, boyfriend, business partner and love of my life❤️ Fun fact - we met online.
I was NEVER one to do online dating but I decided to give it a shot since I’m a home body and never go out. I thought I would never meet anyone LOL.
I was single for 20 years. I enjoyed my alone time and spent these years getting ahead of life before getting into a relationship.
I was online for 4 days and had no idea how the online dating website worked so I pressed a button and it said message sent. I’m like wtf!?!? The ...next thing you know all a bunch of my photos get sent over and it showed I sent a automatic message saying “hey there” due to the button I clicked...like WHAT🙈
Thankfully he responded back and after a few days we met in person.
We talked for 6 hours in a car in a parking lot. Something so simple yet I felt like I knew him for years.
From that day on I knew this was my person.
I couldn’t be more thankful for someone who knows all of my struggles, knows what I’ve delt with in the past, knows I can be a pain in the butt sometimes yet is still so patient with me and shows me so much love every single day. The man who brings me flowers just because. The man who loves and connects so well with my family.
I love you so much my mr bean❤️ (we call each other misses and mr bean LOL🤣)

Landmine Crunch Time 💪
The first time I tried landmine exercises I was like how tf do you even do this 👀😂 To get the hang of it, I took a lighter barbell (like the rubber black ones that are 10-20lbs or even a long dowel rod) and placed it in a corner (mimicking the landmine set-up) and practiced with it.
I love incorporating landmine exercises into my full body days b/c they’re really effective at targeting many muscles, can be dynamic, and are honestly really fun 😜
For these exercises, I like to perform the first one for 10 each side, 2nd for 15 each side, and 3rd for 12 each side - repeat 3-4 times.
✨Helpful tip: landmines are intimidating at first but practicing with a lighter weight and going through different movements will help to familiarize yourself and work towards using a heavier bar

What is your #motivation behind your #fitness#journey?
The #1 mistake I see being made in the fitness industry is starting your journey for the #wrong reason.
Really think about the WHY you are on this journey.
If you do it for the wrong reason, for example, solely wanting to be “skinny” or to look good for a vacation/event, (there are plenty of wrong reasons these are just the most common that I hear) then you will never stick through with it. That “motivation” will start to disappear, therefore leading to you giving up.
If you want this journey to be a #meaningful and a long lasting journey, then make sure you are in it for the #right reasons such as for your health, a better quality of life, the release of endorphins, or to see how strong you are, both mentally and physically. The list goes on, just make sure your journey has meaning behind it.

I finished week 1 of my program and start week 2 tomorrow!! Week one was HARD. But it also felt really good. My nutrition isn’t locked down yet - sometimes I wonder if I wonder if it ever will be 🤷🏻♀️ What helps keep me on track is mainly my superfood shake that I make EVERY day. I know that I’m getting a quality supplement in, and mixing it in with fruits and veggies doesn’t hurt.
As far as workouts, I need to buy more dumbbells so I can keep pushing and seeing progression in my lifts. What I LOVE about the program is every day, every workout is DIFFERENT.

Sweaty workout done ✅ it’s time to relax finally 🤗 and if you didn’t see my instastory i finally grew a pair and jumped onto a moving treadmill to do sprints 🏃♀️ I’ve always been too scared that I’d die if I jumped on but it’s actually not hard at all 😂 trained back followed my 10 mins of treadmill sprints. Now watching desperate housewives 😇 outfit is @myproteinuk luxe lounge and it’s SO comfy 😍 link in my bio x
And the trouble is, if you don’t risk anything, you risk even more. Taking risks can be uncomfortable and downright scary. However, on my fitness and self-love journey, I’ve learnt that when we have a clear vision of the life we want and focus on the paths that will lead us to that destination, the risks are almost always worth it bc we learn from it (if we fail) or it brings us one step closer (if we succeed). In a society that is constantly telling us to “do you” or “give no f*cks” that removes the opportunity for anyone to truly understand the strength they posses inside because the focus is only ever directed inward. It’s one thing to be heroic for yourself and look out for your best interest, but when you can help another individual find & embrace their own inner strength, and show them that they too are capable of being a hero in this world, that’s when you truly BECOME YOUR OWN HERO!⚡️🖤
