Anyone else beat the madness of that crazy #rundisney registration system?! It took me approx 55 minutes and a friend an hour and 20 minutes, and her sister’s registration 2 hours🙈!! .
Hope you got a spot if you were trying! 🤞 Cannot wait to run with my BRF @mainerungirl ❤️👯♀️!!

Avoid dehydration! Be sure to drink plenty of water when going on those hot summer runs! #gibbons5k#summerruns
Planking in purple 💜
Brad Stulberg recently tweeted something about the importance of a strong core (➡️ to see), so when I finished this morning’s run with a few minutes to spare, I thought I’d throw in a plank for good measure! (As if one plank would really make a difference- I know! I plank at least once a day, every day. But it’s worth getting in the habit of doing something useful with an extra few minutes, isn’t it?)

This is one of my favorites things to do in Bern. Running as far as you can along side the Aare, then plunging into water. If you lay back and submerge your head a bit, you can hear the little rocks being pushed down by the current ...like miniature chime of thousands of crystals..truly magic!! #bern#aareriver#bernswitzerland#summerruns#aarebern#summerfitness
ran three miles and called it a day. shins are hurting like a mother (story of my life) so I decided to avoid all my problems and go to the pool instead. don’t feel like I can take any more days off - I have a half in September and my full in October. I want to stay on schedule as best as possible but this shin pain ain’t screwing around. feeling frustrated that my source of stress relief is causing me stress. 🤦🏻♀️ UPDATE: Dale at Fleet Feet was super nice and reassuring on the phone and told me me to come in tomorrow so he can look at my shoes and running mechanics after i cried on the phone to him like he was my therapist. gosh i love nice people. #summerruns#runnersofinstagram#strongereveryday#womenrunningcommunity#marathontraining#running#runningcommunity#hokashoes

I like to run home from work as it combines training and commuting. However, I have the worst psychological barrier after 3 miles and so have never made it home without stopping. After this I still had 1.5 miles to go and somehow squeezed in some sprints. So strange how the mind can stop you from achieving your goals. I will write a blog post soon!
My legs felt like lead setting off after my legs sesh at the gym yesterday, so pretty happy with the time especially amongst all the commuting traffic. .
Despite the overcast weather providing some respite from the heat, swipe to picture three to see the sweaty mess I was by the time I got home!
Oh so sweaty....13.5km with a nasty stitch for the majority portion 😧. Hot evening runs are not my cup of tea but I'm super happy to be seeing a noticeable improvement in my speed after only 2 months of marathon training 🙌
The first two are me questioning my decision to run a hilly race in 85 degree weather with the phrase "I'm feeling hot hot hot" by Michael Scott stuck in my head. The second two show my rewards for sticking it out (a popsicle, water, and neat views).
Came away with the W in a difficult race, but it was gorgeous so it was ok.
Thanks to @clydehurstofficial for putting on a fun race and huge shout out to the awesome volunteers that help make it happen and for spraying us overheating runners with water! I hope to make it back next year!
Also thanks to Jeremiah for the support and for taking pictures of me! 📸: @hasjer3 .
Keep cool on your summer runs by sticking close to water. The breeze from the ocean, lakes or rivers will keep things cooler and there is nothing quite like rewarding yourself with a quick after run dip. #SummerRuns#SauconyAU#FindYourStrong
4 miles on this beautiful night..which puts me at 310 miles for 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣8️⃣..I know some people run that in like 3 months but with our busy schedules and work/life/family balance..I’ll take it! Looking forward to some summer races and if the weather is anything like tonight I’ll be sprinting that first mile pace....🤔😆 Happy Tuesday!!! #motherrunnerx2#runmomrun#runnersofinstagram#summerruns 💪🏻🏃🏻♀️☀️👍🏻
