🍔 I didn’t post anything yesterday because I was mainly living off leftovers. But I made up for it with a vengeance tonight. @twochubbycubs, you have a LOT to answer for... Their ‘saucy cheeseburger gnocchi bake’? Errrrr, it’s DIVINE.
🍔 I’m going back to #Chichester for a long weekend as of Friday evening, so wanted to make two dinners I hadn’t tried before now that the boy is back. He’s super-adventurous and likes everything (thank GOODness), so I came up with a shortlist before running some ideas by him. I discovered #TwoChubbyCubs a couple of weeks ago when searching for a fake #KFC-type seasoning for a chicken salad I was making. After reading some of the entries on their site, I was hooked. They are blue as you liiiiike, but their mixture of travel, chat and recipes-that-aren’t-completely-full-of-sugar-and-other-rubbish-substitutes is just so damn refreshing. And I really need a laugh right now 😊
🍔 I’m a big fan of the potato-y pasta-y goodness that is #gnocchi, but I rarely ever cook it. After stumbling across this recipe, I HAD to give it a try (you can see how it looked before I tucked into it in my Instagram stories from today🍴). The gnocchi I used (De Cecco) varied slightly in syns and I also used a bit of turmeric while cooking the onion, garlic and peppers, but everything else was done completely by the book (coming in at 4.5 syns per portion if using the mozzarella as your hexA). Actually, I lie — I whacked in AN ACTUAL TONNE of gherkins to really add a cheeseburger-y feel to this dish. I also added a healthy portion of lettuce to my plate, but this is full of onion, peppers, mushrooms and gherkz, so it’s speed a go-go when it comes to this meal. But the BEST bit? I’ve got another portion of this cheesy meaty goodness waiting for me tomorrow 😬
Sorry for the radio silence today! So it turns out if I don't set my alarm Mr K doesn't.......cue 7:54am wake up and .....oh sh*t we have to be out of the house at 8:30 to get the car serviced 🤪 brekkie was a rushed bowl of crunchy bran for my HexB
Lunch was a complete cock up of a coronation chicken sandwich 🤦 (despite insta correcting it to coronation Street every time!!)
And then my first weigh in.......
5days on plan and 3lb off....I'll take that and am determ to move forward 👍
It’s so nice to feel confident again in clothes!! I’ve been on and off plan for the last few months and it’s nice to look back to get the motivation you need to get back on track!

Dippy eggs with pizza topped asparagus soldiers 🍕😍. A delicious alternative to my pizza toast soldiers & so easy to prepare 👍. Just boil your asparagus for 5 minutes then drain and place on a lined baking tray. Top with tomato passata & grated cheese then pop under the grill until the cheese is golden & bubbling. Meanwhile, bring a pan of water to the boil, add your eggs and cook for exactly 6 mins. This timing is for large eggs straight from the fridge so if you're using smaller or room temperature eggs then reduce the cooking time by 1 minute. Serve & devour 🤤🍕 #whatiateforbreakfast

I thought I’d show you guys a different kind of photo to the usual unflattering ones taken while I’m unaware, I took the photo on the left pretty much a year ago to the day, a few months before I started doing slimming world from home. I have no idea of my weight in the photo but I’m pretty sure I got bigger than that🤦🏻♀️ the photo on the left was the ONLY photo I uploaded of myself last year (it was deleted pretty soon🤦🏻♀️) you can see how uncomfortable I was, I hated it. The photo on the right I took yesterday, 5 stone 12 pounds lighter. Starting to accept my body and the things I can’t change. I’m not where I want to be, but thank god i’m not where I was. If you’re lacking motivation just think of how different your life will be when you take back control! You don’t have to be miserable, anything is possible, this is coming from the girl that had takeaways 2/3 times a week, McDonald’s at least once a week (I got 2 adult meals, a milkshake and a McFlurry, sometimes an apple pie) I’d eat no end of chocolate and crisps between those meals. I ate constantly because I was miserable 😖 Now I still eat delicious food, I just make it myself!! It’s not a question of whether you can do it, it’s when are you gonna do it?! 🖤
I don’t care how long now these have been out for now 😍 will I ever walk by them and not pick up a packet? NO! Will I ever just buy one packet? NO! ❤️

Another session in the gym done✅feeling good, awake and energised after that, what a way to start the day💪🏻
I get a lot of messages asking about my gym routine and when I started using the gym throughout my journey so I thought it would help be doing a post to explain!🙌🏻
So I lost just shy of 10 stone in 6 months with just following the slimming world plan, no exercise included at this point!
Slowly, I started to introduce small amount of exercise, walking, cycling and the cross trainer in the gym! Slowly over time I’ve built this up and have been working harder, faster, for longer and slowly got my fitness levels higher!🙌🏻 I’m now currently going to the gym around 3-4 times a week for around 60 minutes a go! Hope this helps😘
