v. share with care
YouTube is rolling out the repost red carpet for creators.
It’s been a long time pet peeve of creators having their original content stolen and re-uploaded on other channels without their permission.
YouTube’s new Copyright Match tool is designed to find re-uploads of creator content on other channels.
How it works:
After you upload a video, YouTube will scan other uploaded videos to see if any of them are identical or very similar. Any matches will appear in the tool and you can decide what to do next, within YouTube’s copyright policies and guidelines.
The tool is currently available to creators with 100k+ subscribers.
"Stay" by Luca Brasi
So whilst I think Melbourne pop-punk and emo has been improving of late I can't say the same for Tasmania. Then again, I can't say much about Tasmania because like I forget it's a part of my country a lot.. This particular Tasmanian pop-punk record is a weird and unique listening experience, owing to a dramatic shift in quality around three quarters through the album. We start off with a quasi post-rock passage on "stay" which had me thinking 'gee I hope it's not boring like that City Calm Down album'. The next six songs prove that it's actually much worse. We get some of the worst oversinging of the year, corny guitar lines and lyrics that kinda just exist to be angsty drug metaphors. And that CAN work, it's just that the band decides to take these topics like abuse and turn them into these fun pop songs and it's so awkward. The low point being "Never Better" where the vocals sound like the mic is too close to the mouth whilst a pre-recorded instrumental plays on a stereo, it's a bad moment for the production here. These first seven tracks are terrible, filled with fetishisation of high-school nostalgia and generic songwriting and only really saved by some cool guitar passages-if this were the album I'd give it a 3.5. HOWEVER, things just fucking pick up with the melodic downer ballad "clothes I slept in" and then, my favourite moment on this album with "Collisions". This is one of the best pop-punk tracks of the year, filled with brimming tension and honest emotion, the lyrics aren't annoying here they're really revealing and empathetic as the idea of having problems which aren't situational but personal is dealt with in a emotive way. I love "Collisions", not even the millenial whoah's could turn me off. "Bastard" is also a lot of fun and closer "The Calm and The Ease" is pretty bad but overall I'd give this part of the album like a 6.5- averaging the entire experience out to a 5. Boy on Fire🔥🔥🔥
Thank you to my bestest auntie @lizajanesowden who knew that getting a new tartan jumper pressy all the way from #Tasmania would make my tummy feel so much better- I can't wait to meet you next month!!! 🏴
It's possibly the most photographed mountain in Australia and the scene looks even better from the top. Scramble through Cradle Mountain's famously bowed escarpment on a long day hike to be rewarded with a hard-earned view that takes in most of Tasmania's highest peaks as well as the line of the Overland Track below.

I'm having fun using this camera vs my DSLR equipment as it is much easier to carry with me all the time!
Thanks @fujifilmx_au for the camera.
Most wouldn't know this, but my very first digital camera, purchased back in 2003 was actually a FUJIFILM, I was shooting with a film SLR but enjoyed shooting digital with my Finepix camera too." Photo by FUJIFILM X-T100 ambassador @paulmp
