Just had the best morning with this girl 🌈 talking all things essential oil, birth and road trips... I think another couple of hours would have done us good 🙊 we met with the universes intention as we were traveling through her hometown in Curl Curl, Sydney and today she hosted a workshop in Byron Bay and I lead a little yoga flow 🧘🏽♀️ ohh and did I mention that we are both pregnant with our third baby 💜 feeling grateful @flourish_eo
North shore tomorrow! The land of shrimp shacks and pipeline...yeeeewww 🤙🏻 / #keen
Second time this week that I have picked this card... it’s always fun to ask the mermaids for guidance 🧜🏽♀️ anyone else reach out to their angel cards for support? I am excited to teach a little flow tomorrow with @flourish_eo sharing oils and enjoying some beautiful company 🌸 if you are in the Byron area and would love to join I will share the details!!🌛
We are proud to be supplying the @vividsydney event staff with our classic StowAway Jacket for the second year running. Launching tonight for three weeks, the city will be lit and lined with entertainment, performances and ideas! 🎉 #rainbirdclothing
Life seems to move so much faster on the road. Throw back to Rainbow beach. Was that a week ago or a month ago? Who knows! Haha ⛅👌
We've been getting lots of questions about our travels...the why's, what's and where's, so thought we'd do a Stoked FAQ series 🤗
So, first in the series...Why did we opt for a van with no bathroom? It's all personal preference but here's our take on ensuites.
WATER CONSUMPTION 🚰
We like to free camp which means no water availability. If we're free camping for a week or so at a time, we have to be very sparing with the water in our tank so wouldn't use the shower often anyway. .
We would rather pocket the extra $$. It's up to an extra $10k for an ensuite 😲
CARAVAN SIZE 🚐
We wanted to keep the size of the van to a minimum. An ensuite means a bigger van
How do we manage?
The kids are not an issue, they're little and don't get 'stinky'....they swim in the sea, which counts as a wash in our book. They fit into a plastic tub, the sink or we use the external shower (swipe to see pics).
Us adults either use the external shower for a quick rinse (optional shower tent) or wait until we're staying somewhere with facilities for a good wash of the hair. Sea swimming counts for us too 👍🏼
We have a porta potty...simples. This doesn't fit in a cupboard so is either kept by the door or if we're free camping alone it's put outside. No it doesn't smell 💩
To conclude...We manage just fine, we don't stink, we have more $ to spend on doing cool stuff and we don't miss what we've never had 👍🏼
Our dirty lil van surrounded by the beauty of a rainforest. We cant get enough of the green! 🌴🌿
Rate your excitement... ☃️

Throwback to exploring the blue mountains national park! Such an amazing place and so many beautiful sights😍 #explorerlust23
One thing which we will ever take for granted again is power. We mostly feel like we are barely camping, our bus is literally a home on wheels with all the amenities. We have solar panels which create power for the fridge, charging points, lights and I can even use my NutriBullet to make my daily smoothie. We have a shower, toilet and running water... sounds like cheating doesn’t it?! But we promise we are grateful each time we use these facilities, and being on the road has defiantly changed our life forever. We still need to wash our clothes at caravan parks, and my most disliked part is using baby wipes so much. It is probably not even that much but I am used to using face washers rather than creating excess waste. Our impact on the environment is still pretty minimal, Lola Bus is pretty thirsty on diesel but we try to cut back on driving when we can. And there have been challenges which I will share also! Anyways this is a scrumptious mint slice the kids and I made using our doTERRA peppermint oil to add the wicked flavour... and yes this is the very last piece so I thought I would get a snap! 🍃👌🏽
