Making memories with you is my favorite thing to do, even when we managed to lose our trailer on this very road and didn’t notice until a good few kilometers later. 🤭

Blessed to get to see amazing things in different countries. 🗺 @ronnie.sparke suggested that we climb Mount Warning before sunrise so we could be one of the first few people to see the sun rise in Australia during the winter. We slept the night before in Nimbin, woke up at 3:30am drove for about 45 minutes to the starting point of our trek and walked and climbed 4.4km in total darkness. Racing to the top was a challenge but it was also great motivation to keep going as quickly as possible. Needless to say our journey to the top was worth it with a lovely sunrise overlooking Byron Bay and the NSW coast. Since we did the entire path in the dark, we got to see what a lovely hiking route it truly was on the way back down. This will be a day I will never forget🙌🏻 This photo was taken about a quarter of the way down from the summit. ⛰
It was not quite what we had expected when we set off, but it was definitely the best view of the mountains I've ever seen. Even though we were running very late I was still reluctant to leave.
It wasn't until we got back to the car that we noticed a sign pointing to Lockley's Pylon on the road to the right of the car park, there must have been a car covering it when we arrived. Without knowing we had taken Fortress Ridge Trail instead! It had been harder and taken a bit over three hours instead of just two, but worth it, and we decided to come back as soon as possible to do the walk we had planned to do in the first place.
Oh, and did we make the movie? We did! Dusty, tired, happy and with exactly three minutes to spare.

How many light bulbs does it take to change a person?
Always have been and will be a fan of the ocean. The sheer power of it at times makes you realise how powerless you are on this earth.
This is my contribution for #topdowntuesday , an idea one of my inspirations on instagram @highintheskyphotography came up with.
