Linderhof Palace, the smallest of King Ludwig ll's famous palaces, is fairly easy to get to. There's a Flixbus that goes directly there from Munich in 1.5 hours (wouldn't bother with public transport, it takes three hours and as many transfers). Costs about 18 to get there (probably less if you don't buy it the night before for a nearly full bus haha) and 9 to get into the castle (it's neat, but small, and if you're trying to save money it's not that different inside than the nicer rooms of Munich's Residenz). The gardens are very lovely even though I wasn't checking the white balance on my phone often enough wah wah, and there's a lot of little things you can walk around to see, we didn't even have time for all of it. If you go by car or have a weekend it's located close to Ettal Abby.

Life is too short. Take the trip, eat the gelato. 🍦 Funny story, I “discovered” an amazing gelato flavor while we were in Germany called Malaga. I was obsessed with it and begged Ed to stop into every gelato shop for a scoop. It turns out that it’s just rum raisin and I had no idea because Germans call it something else. 🤷🏻♀️😂 #Germany#traveleurope#gelato#passionpassport
