This is Marco, a crocodile farmer at Mamba Village Mombasa. Marco raises crocodiles from the time they are fragile eggs in incubation, until the time they grow slightly bigger than the croc currently sitting on his head. (Less than a year old)
The bigger crocodiles live in larger ponds grouped together based on their size and age. Often times, these crocodiles end up being sold for their meat and skin as they mature.
Kibera is home to 4 million people, making it the largest slum in all of Africa. I had the amazing opportunity to tour and meet with organizations and youth groups spreading messages of empowerment and peace. #travelkenya#kiberastories#wanderlust
