What a blast it was in Palaui Island. This shot is something that has to be seen to be believed. This is what photography means to me. A passion that collects moments for the future, past and present. Thanks for having me out, Cagayan team!

An hour boatride to the rocks (without a sunblock on, because I packed my things 45 mins before leaving for the trip lol), plus an hour boatride to the beach where the trekking starts going up to the mountainview... Best biglaang tour ever!

What if I trip?? What if the wind literally blow me away? What if I fall off the cliff? These negative thoughts were about to stop me from enjoying an absolutely perfect scenery. And I hated how this fear of heights was stopping me to seize the moment! The trail was a tough trek for a beginner like me. There were moments that I was like losing my breath and I was feeling like passing out. I was shaking. I was nervous. I was anxious yet very excited as I climb the wooden tower. And when I finally reached the top, I lost my breath again. This time, figuratively. Everything suddenly became indescribable. For a moment, I was out of words. And my heart was very happy. My heart was grateful that God blessed us with so much beauty in nature that we could turn to when we're stressed out with our mundane lives.
As I spent almost an hour just staring at the perfection in front of me, I realized nothing will be possible if you let negativities eat you alive. I'd like to remind myself that being scared isn't the problem; it only becomes a problem when that fear prevents u from doing what you love.

Few months ago, I stopped living outside the comfort zone because I thought my life was getting nowhere. I focused on my typical 9-5 job and said goodbye to adventures, waves, and long drives. Little did I know, I would get imprisoned in a work-bahay-repeat lifestyle and I couldn't get any more depressed. Yesterday I chose the spontaneous, free spirited old me, and promised myself to always have a work-life balance, moving forward. And yayy my heart was happy again, as if it finally found the piece it has been looking for.
p.s. sorry for the ugly toes HAHAHAHA
