Lucky enough to be in San Gimignano again for my birthday and to have a lovely wife who organised a picnic of antipasti and vino rosso in this amazing spot. Best of all, we got to share my first birthday with Ziggy, who couldn't give a shit what day it is as long as he has lunch too! Thanks Luce!

One of my favourite views in Leeds is believe it or not just off of Leeds and Bradford road in between two houses. This is what you see... endless fields meeting houses. This little spot looks out towards Horsforth Rawdon and Yeadon... Oh and the sunsets aren’t too bad either.
Chiado is a square in the city of Lisbon. António Ribeiro was a known poet in 1500s. He would recite his poetry to people and forget everything else while he did that. However, he was addicted to some drugs which affected his throat. His voice turned squeaky eventually. But he kept on reciting his poems anyway. Chiado is the word for squeaky in Portuguese. And the square is named after him. In 1925, a bronze statue of Chiado designed by the sculptor Costa Mota was placed in the middle of the square.
The man in the statue looks cheerful to say that the least. Looking at the beautiful sculpture, you can easy feel the anticipation for him to just spring up from his seat and start reciting one of his poems again!
