Another dreary day here in Connecticut so I’ll share another picture from McKenna’s travels. She spent this Sabbath day in Athens and was able to attend church with the local congregation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Even though the language was different, the Spirit was the same!
While attending church today (here in CT...nothing exotic for me!) I was touched by a phrase in a hymn we sang. It is a prayer to our Savior, “Teach us tolerance and love.” These words are ever so important and vital in our world today! May I show love and tolerance to all I meet. May I teach my children to be tolerant and show love to all those who cross their path. May we show love as the Savior did! May we seek to understand and accept one another!
