Really touching experience. Hope is a place which welcomes all homeless people with an opened heart if they decide to give up their bad past habits. Volunteers and people there offer help and self-reflection precedures. They deal with traumas and homeless individuals and families who lost all their hope. They pray to Jesus and lead others to him. People here are victims. They faced sexual assaults, rape, domestic violence, poverty, lack of food and water supplies and most faced the danger of living on the street or being killed. They still smile. And even those who cannot be accepted to the centre due to its capacities get a free lunch. Just us offering them water bottles made them smile a bit. They are different that you would think. They are kind, friendly, opened, welcoming and thankful. I got a hat and butterfly (and a warm hug) from a cute sweet black girl. I love her. And I wish we all would be able to understand and help those people. They are like us. Sometimes even better. ❤ #lifechanging#homeless#usatrip#helpingpoor
