My brother and I returned home for the World Series Team Roping in Cheyenne early this morning. It was a great roping.
I rode a horse that belongs to my parents. I’ve ridden him and had some success at smaller jackpots a couple times in the past few years, but the one yesterday was his first big team roping.
Although we didn't have the outcome we hoped for, I was pleased with how he worked. There are a lot of variables in team roping, and the key is doing the absolute best we can with the ones we can control.
We accomplished that goal!
My husband Craig and his brother Tyler have always been a force to reckon with in the roping pen! 🐂〰🏇⠀
Today they’re joining forces at ‘The Daddy’ World Series Roping in Cheyenne, WY with the goal to qualify for the Finale in Las Vegas. ⠀
They’ve had some picture-perfect practices this week and I couldn’t be more confident and excited for how well they’ll do today.👏🏼 Go Team Smith!⠀
