Iceland Adventure Day 4: In the morning we hiked to the Hengifoss Waterfall. We then drove a couple of hours and stopped to hike to a random waterfall we saw along the road. Iceland really is the land of waterfalls! It seemed like every bend around the road a new one would pop into view. Finally we made it the Dettifoss Waterfall that’s in Prometheus, one of our all time favorite movies that also inspired us to come to Iceland. It was absolutely breathtaking! We then made it to our camp in Ásbyrgi Canyon and went on an amazing hike along the canyon rim. The midnight sun sure comes in handy! -
It's been a whirlwind of a week but when I get to finally sit and breathe with this vista and the big blue stretching out for miles around my lil home on wheels... all is A-ok! #vanlife is gooood in Wales 😍🙏🏻💕

Pretty sure this wee man was made for vanlife. He likes nothing better than viewing the passing world from the front seats. Plus he’s portable and doesn’t moult everywhere... sorry Dex, we love you too!
aaaannnddd, WE’RE OFF! It’s never felt so good to be back in the bus. Now that we’ve finished our renovations, we’re back on the move. Back in our groove 🙌🏼 Alaska baby, here we come!!! Meeting up with our friends @theskoolie & @jeremyveach to caravan up there & we couldn’t be more happy with the crew we got. Can’t wait to reunite guys! Watch out for our video we’ll be dropping tomorrow for a full tour of our renovations!! Much love fam ☺️✌🏼
A very sad day has come, the day we put Dora up for sale 😢 she’s a must see 1990 fiat ducato talbot express campervan! As you can see she is a self build project and we have completely started again with the layout. She’s a very simplistic camper, with a sink, 2 hob gas cooker, and a fold out bed/sofa. 2 captain armchairs from an old Citroen, 6 led lights hooked up to a leisure battery, 2 usb slots at the end of the bed for charging phones and other small electronic devices. Has a power converter for 13v mains, we used this for our laptop and hairstraigtners! She’s great drive, and done us very proud on a 4000 mile trip round europe! 75,000 miles on the clock in total. She has some cosmetic problems on the outside but that gives her some character and war scars, she is quite old now! A fantastic camper for someone who wants to set off straight away, or someone who wants to carry on customising her! Please come and have a look and hopefully you’ll fall in love just like I did! Any questions please ask! We currently just have it up on Facebook but will be going on eBay!
Look what stopped by the shop! This is the biggest lifted Sprinter I’ve seen in the US. It’s a one-off extra large 4x4 by Whitefeather.
Sorry for the IG radio silence! What’s been going on?! @gratefulpursuit
Saying goodbye to #vanlife today is bittersweet. We had an awesome (sometimes scary) week driving the green machine around the island. Thankful for all the memories made with my HUSBAND. There's no one else that I could live in a van down by the river (well in our case, ocean) with! 😆🚌❤️😘
Hey Instagram 😁 just a little introduction. We are Kelsey and Tyler, two midwesterners with a passion to get out and see the world. We are a solid four years away from going full time in to #vanlife, but we are super excited!
I don’t spend a whole lot of time looking backwards. In fact I have terabytes of photos and videos from years past I’ve never even looked at. But every once in a while my mind quiets just long enough for me to sit and reflect. Last night I started thinking about the last car I had before my Van. It was a 2014 BMW M5 and was the most expensive thing I had ever bought besides my house at the time. When I was a teenager I printed up photos of all of my favorite cars at the time and put them up on my bedroom wall in classic fashion. One of those dream cars was a late 90’s M5. A few years later when I had the opportunity and the means, I walked into the dealership and picked this one up off the lot in exchange for somewhere north of $100,000 of my hard earned dollars. That purchase validated my success, it meant that I had overcome all of the obstacles before me and that I had succeeded in making something of myself despite what all of my teachers had told me growing up. I wore a big smile as I drove away down PCH with a 600 horsepower twin turbo V8 under me. This was the greatest car I’d ever driven. As the months went by however I began to change, and my initial feelings for the car began to wither and fade. I realized that the guy who bought that car wasn’t the guy I wanted to be. I bought a old Westfalia in Arizona for $4500 and wore a even bigger grin as it teetered on the edge of overheating all the way back to California before finally dying in my driveway. As more time went by I noticed myself driving the Van more and more and the BMW less and less. I began to care less about how others perceived me, and more about the amazing experiences this janky old VW was showing me. It wasn’t much later that I sold the BMW, my house, my other cars, greatly simplified my life and became vastly happier and more comfortable with myself. You could argue it was the BMW, The Westfalia, My learning Meditation, Practicing Yoga, or more likely all of those things and more. I have no particular agenda here on my instagram. I’m not here to tell you the way your living is wrong and mine is right, but that maybe there is another path to happiness for us all. 🚎🌬✌🏼

I’m both free spirited and reserved. Wildflower picking and fine art loving. Young in spirit and old souled. Confident in my convictions and shaky in my skin. Perfectly imperfect and unashamed.
An Australian guy with a British girl in an American camper made in Germany, driving up North across England to both experience Scotland for the first time 🚌🌲 Five nights and six days spent in soaking, stormy, chaos.
Our home for the week was this adorable 40 year old retro California Kombi, ironically named Sunny. Of course, the weather was anything but ☀️ He didn’t exactly match the landscape - he looks more suited on his way to the beach decked out with some surfboards, but I loved the juxtaposition of two very different worlds surreally coexisting.
Soaring mountains, highland cows, castles, villages, windswept moorlands, rocky coastlines.. Scotland you are beautiful, and your dramatic weather only adds to your ever-so-rugged charm ☔️
From losing track of time walking around Edinburgh for seven hours aimlessly admiring the city, finding an unexpected little hidden vegan cafe in Fort William, to spending the night in Skye wondering if Storm Hector was going to blow our little mustard coloured home over at 4am in the morning... the land of Scots stole our wee hearts! 🐉🏴🐏 #Aye#AyeHadNoIdeaWhatAnyoneWasSaying#LovedItThough
Sidenote: I am so immensely proud of Ned for driving Sunny, a left hand drive (!!) temperamental old boy who’s a lil rusty, on not just UK roads for the first time, but tiny little one way, windey roads in crazy rain, wind and fog! Kombis sure are cute but I quickly realised they’re not the easiest vehicle to manouvre, but after a couple of hours he was riding Sunny like a pro. Probably could’ve worded that better. Oh well.🚌❤️

#womenontheroad | When your new travel buddy is 8'6". 🙊 @jensawyerfieldproducer didn't know she would be getting a giant 4x4 rig when she set out to get her camper for solo travel, and when she saw this vehicle at first, it gave her pause: "She was huge and definitely not dainty. She surely wasn't a Westy." But ultimately she realized it was the perfect fit for her, and we're glad to see her owning it! | 📷: @jensawyerfieldproducer
In Toronto, @eh.mon and I are the "token" vanlifers. It's understandable that few people would CHOOSE to live in 60 sq ft with their partner in one of the busiest cities in North America. But, while we understand it, we sure wish there were a few more crazy cats like us so we could start a #vanlife gang!! .
Enter Vancouver aka the land of van dwellers. Click the link in my bio for a little glimpse at all the crazy 😻s out here and watch till the end to see how our attempt at starting our gang turned out...
