In a world where so many people have chosen to define themselves by what they hate, make a conscious choice to rise above it and instead only define yourself with the things that you love ✨ Find something that makes you feel ALIVE & AWAKE and hold on to that shit for dear life. What gets you up in the morning? What fills you up with childlike hope and wonder? What forces you to keep running forward even when your body is worn out and weary? What makes you WANT to be here? Spend your time nurturing and cherishing that thing. Resist wasting your life feeling angry and hateful towards others who may never understand you. Flood out their noise with beauty and laughter and joy. Bake cakes. Build things. Create art. Work HARD. Fail miserably, and keep trying. CRY if you need to, REACH OUT if you need to. Sit next to another human being and tell them all your dreams and hopes and fears and be heard. Find your thing. Then shut off all the external noise and dive head first into it. However you choose, I implore you to fill your heart and life up with what you love. Because a heart that’s full has no room left for hate 🖤 #vegancake

Animal rights advocacy is not a platform for us to gain fame, fortune or to go on world tours all the while diluting or outright abandoning the moral message.
In order to be an animal rights advocate we must first understand animal rights theory. We must educate ourselves so we can argue in favour of veganism correctly, in a non speciesist way so we don’t create moral confusion. The truth is most vegans look towards animal organizations or career “activists” as their teachers, when these groups and individuals deliberately dilute the moral message and abandon promoting veganism as a moral imperative because they want to appeal to as wide an audience as possible to maximize their donations/profit.
It is imperative that we understand what Animal Rights actually means and understand what the fundamental right violations against nonhuman persons are before we even attempt to start educating others. The world would be well on its way to vegan by now if there wasn’t so much moral confusion put out by so called animal advocates and perpetuated by vegans who haven’t educated themselves first.
We all must educate ourselves on animal rights theory and then become leaders ourselves, meaning to educate nonvegans about the imperative of veganism and lead them away from their speciesist thinking.

Thank you @baxterblue_ for protecting my eyes by filtering out blue light from my phone and computer all day AND giving pairs of glasses away to people in need. ✨ Technology is great but headaches and sleeplessness and interrupted circadian rhythms are not. These help - and they get an extra shout out for being cute.

Minha contribuição pro arraiá da ~FIRMA™ 🌽🌽 bolo de milho com calda de goiaba (o mais bonito da mesa inclusive 💁🏼♀️). Peguei a receita do @presuntovegetariano 😉
⚡️ Do you anyone who doesn’t like chia pudding? Tell me, I’m curious!
In case you’re looking for a weekend breakfast to treat your friends or family to, this one is a real hit. 🌺 If chia is not a possibility, or you do not like the taste or consistency, you could substitute it for overnight oats. Anyway, here’s the recipe. It’s tasty, quick, and really really simple 🍒
Chia layer ✨
1 cup plant milk
1/4 cup chia
Pinch of cinnamon & vanilla (optional)
Creamy layer ✨
1/2 lemon (juice)
~ 2 Tbsp sweetener of choice. My favorite is coconut sugar.
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

It’s funny to me how a backroad can bring back a ton of memories and fill me with so many emotions. I ran this road all the time growing up, I had a love/hate relationship with the hills on it, and I rode/drove on it regularly...for one reason especially, to go to my long-time, forever friend @bppprest house. We practically lived together growing up...we were at each other’s houses so much that sometimes I’d tell my mom to make up an excuse that she couldn’t come over😂(yes I told her this in later years, hah). I think about her everyday, without fail. Her absence still feels surreal, and I miss her all the time. It’s not fair that such a vibrant soul was taken from so many of us at way too young of an age. 😞💜 Id give anything for one more day with her, one more mall trip, pool day, or adventure. Running has always been a way for me to be at one with my thoughts and it helps me de-stress, but it also has a way of letting my mind run wild and think of some of the most random things. For the past year, though, anytime I’m running (especially back home), my mind automatically goes to her. Being back home last weekend and running this route again hit me hard and brought on some wicked nostalgia, but I will forever cherish all the good times & memories I had with her💕

Warms my heart to know that more people are vegan today than there were yesterday. I can’t imagine ever going back to the person I was before this transition. I’m thankful for the conversations, documentaries, and experiences that led to this. Just patiently waiting for the world to open their hearts. Cheers to new vegans, cheers to the old. Change only happens within the individual, large-scale change is only an illusion. I’m bracing for a world of a whole new consciousness.

It’s very easy to become a faceless company as we grow 📈 Gone are the days of working 12 hours 7 days a week in our little green wooden shed 🏠 Instead we’re fixing broken electrics ⚡️ hiring the great staff you get to meet in our stores 👬👭and making sure there’s always enough stock to feed our hungry customers 🌯🍟 We miss getting to chat to you guys, especially those who have been there since day one and it’s great to see when you tag us on social media 📸 I would just like to say a HUGE thank you 🙏🏼 to those who continue to support us every week, once a month or for those late night deliveries 🚴🏻♀️🌯 It means everything to us and we wouldn’t be where we are without you 🙏🏼💚 - Cem & Roj #grateful#onwardsandupwards

Craving this so much right now😍 Chickpea chana masala, healthy no-oil potato chippies and spinach👌🏻
Two more days until our new kitchen is finished and one night until my foot cast will be removed. Can’t wait🙌🏻 Walking on crutches etc has taught me many things, especially concerning help. I’m not the person to ask for help and let alone accept it, but I’ve really come to realise over the past few weeks that you should accept an offer for help when someone makes it. It will only get your further in life. So don’t be afraid to say yes in situations like these. It’s not a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of strength✨

🤔Vegan Airport food?
Here’s another vegan option that I found at LAX terminal 2. This vegan bowl included mixed greens, avocado, peppers, cucumbers, mushrooms, and a vegan burger.
Anyone want to guess how much this one costed? #whyisairportfoodsodamnexpensive
