SO MUCH GREENERY! It’s been so awesome to see the colours change here as the past THREE MONTHS have gone by 🙀 Only one more day left in the east before I head out west for my fix of mountains and cowboys 🐴 #yeehaw#seasonscolours#summer#parkscanada
Cucumber Spritz Punch. A summertime punch that’s as complex as it is refreshing. George thinks so too even though he’s a dog and doesn’t usually weigh in on these kinds of things.
10 cucumber wheels
15 basil leaves
4 oz St. Germaine elderflower liqueur
8 oz gin
6 oz vanilla syrup
6 oz lime juice
2 oz maraschino liqueur
10 oz soda water
Add all ingredients to a punch bowl with ice and stir.
Drink on a patio or in the grass or some place fun!
Today in Louisbourg National Park. Picking out my future dream home while wearing my current dream clothes. I think I’m finally getting the hang of his whole layering thing with the help of some of my wardrobe staples. Tap for some of my favourite Canadian designers.
By land and by sea - Ovens Natural Park - "Exploring caves like a boss at @ovensnaturalpark near Lunenberg, Nova Scotia! We first walked the awesome trail that winds along and in some of the caves from the campground and then realised we wanted an even better look. Time for our first kayak on the Atlantic! And it was one of our most interesting paddles to date.....more info tomorrow. " || Featured Photo by @offtracktravel#VisitNovaScotia#ExploreCanada

"Part two of our kayak paddle from @ovensnaturalpark brought us all the way to the colourful port town of Lunenberg! It was a 12 km round trip and we didn't intend to do so, but the water was too calm to resist. Our timing ended up being better than we could have imagined. We ended up paddling alongside the legendary Bluenose II. This is the replica of the boat on the Canadian 10 cent piece! I hope some Canadians are reading this and understand how cool this was, we were pretty pumped!" via @offtracktravel#VisitNovaScotia#ExploreCanada#kayakns#Lunenburg#SouthShoreNovaScotia
