The photo on the left was taken last year I was roughly 220 pounds. The photo on the right was taken yesterday and I’m at 175. I have been working out for roughly 5 months. But the past 3 weeks I have teamed up with @travelle_pelkey for a diet and workouts. In 3 weeks I have lost 30 pounds and my total is 45 pounds lost. ▪️No direct research comparing conventional and sumo for Glute activation.
▪️ However, with the function of the glutes being to externally rotation, abduct and extend the hip (with all 3 taking place in the Sumo) as oppose to primarily extension and external rotation in the conventional... It can be theorised that the Sumo is the better alternative for building one's 🍑
Plus... It feels like my glutes are being torn open when I Sumo.

Et bonne nouvelle j’ai réparé ce qui n’allait pas sur mon site je n’ai plus qu’à trouver un nouvel hébergeur parce que celui là est trop lent !

This morning has been rough. I thought I was running late, our laundry room flooded, a fly drowned in my coffee, my back is spasming....and after dealing with it all, I ended up actually being late. It's not a bad day, it's just taking a unique direction. Hoping to pawn this little munchkin off on papa tonight so I can regroup and catch-up on some work.
Operation build my booty is on 👍if you have been following me over the last month you will know I’ve changed up my training and cancelled my gym membership and I have replaced my gym sessions with home workouts. My fat loss phase lasted 3 weeks and resulted in 11 lbs and 11 inches lost😁In the past I have been quad dominant and my quads have been a little large for my liking (personal preference) with the combination of lighter weights and HIIT, I have lost 1.5 inches off each thigh and as you can see from this picture they have trimmed down a lot! They are still a good size, so I am happy with where they are at! Now that doesn’t mean I don’t want to build my booty and hamstrings a little more🔥🍑. I am hoping by focusing on more isolation work and high volume I can still build my booty at home and I am hoping it will mean without the heavier squats and deadlifts that I won’t build my quads anymore. It’s going to be a challenge but I do love a challenge so it’s game on💪🏻 you can see some of my workout this morning in my instastory 👍

I started my fitness journey about 3 years ago, first it was just to get in better shape for sports but boy am I happy that I got addicted to the gym. I weighed about 240lbs in the first picture and about 205lbs in the last. Seeing results of hard work and dedication is what pushes me to be better than what I was yesterday.

The best thing about summer & finishing exams for the year is definitely all of the socials that come my way 💃🏼
Summer Ball did not disappoint but my liver definitely is feeling a bit disappointed in me atm 🙃
But life is for enjoying & that is exactly what I'm striving for 🤗
Balance is a big thing for me & as long as I'm eating well & not drinking too much 80% of the time then there is no reason why I can't relax & just live, party, etc. 20% of the time 🌈

Steak Burrito Bowls - In this picture I wanted to show what the difference could look like if you were meal prepping for weight loss or weight gain!
Remember that when we are making body composition changes, calorie balance is the most important factor to consider. To lose weight, we must be in a deficit. To gain weight, we must be in a surplus. I normally include 1/2 cup of rice in my meals that call for it but to remove some calories I lowered that serving to 1/3 of a cup. I also decreased the amount of steak to 5 ounces. You could also pick a leaner cut of beef to lower the calorie load even more. The amount of peppers was doubled to keep a similar volume of food! .
For the weight gain meal I doubled the rice, added extra meat, and halved the amount of peppers. Gaining weight is all about pounding calories. I’ve always struggled with weight gain and I know a lot of you guys do as well. I’m hoping to start posting more content like this to help you with your goals 😎😎

It has #quinoa which is a complete plant-based source of protein (one of my favorite), a salad with greens and Tahini which are also high in proteins. And some fruits that ALSO contain proteins. Yes, fruits do contain amino acids🍌🍏🍊
If you’re transitioning to the vegetarian or vegan diet, don’t get scared by the proteins and all the vitamins deficiency. Whole, Plant-based food are dense in nutrients, vitamins, minerals etc. Do your own researches so you get educated about this lifestyle and therefore can do it the right way.

The body recognises the food you eat as calories and macronutrients but not all food is equal in energy. More calorie dense foods are not forbidden but particularly when watching your weight and overall health they should be consumed in moderation. Especially when dieting the key considerations are
1️⃣WHAT your body needs
2️⃣HOW much of it and
3️⃣WHERE to get it from that will both satisfy your preferences and keep you fuller for longer. ☑️It’s important to strike a balance between foods you love + overall good health + meeting your calorie and macro goals for results. ⚖️What you don’t have to do to achieve results is forgo foods you love here’s some tips for fitting it in 💡
