Literally this place was one of the highlights for me of our cross country road trip. I felt like my soul was carefree and full and happy just taking in the moment🌞it’s a feeling I want to channel and work more into my every day life - less complicated and more joyful!
3/3 finally get to share images and video from this shoot !! marium and sajjad’s wedding weekend is amazing and i’m so glad i was able to create something to help share their love story to their friends and family !
If you zoom in on the sunspot you’ll see the mountains silhouette against the sun, like a piece of the sun went missing. At first this seemed just a nice addition to the image, but considering Celia (who has stolen pieces my heart on several occasions) is in the photo, it reminds me of the old adage: “You will never truly be home again after you travel, you will leave a piece of your heart in the places you went and with the people you met,” or some version of that. When David came and visited me in Nashville last weekend (he and I also met in Thailand and have been best friends since), everything suddenly felt whole again. The beauty of what I’m roughly quoting is that when you do reunite with the people or places that stole a part of your heart, you feel like you’re coming home to the best version of yourself. Call me sappy, but that’s pretty damn special if you ask me. TLDR: travel with an open mind and open heart, it’s worth it.
