SEA SWIMMING•• This Sunday I will be embracing the elements again doing another refreshing sea swim with Dave of @southhandcrafted.
This is a community project to get more people in the sea enjoying the water.
You can have a invigorating quick dip or a longer swim depending on your abilities.
Both ladies and gents welcome! It will be cold so wear a wetsuit if you feel more comfortable.
This is about having fun and making new friends! we want to encourage more of you to enjoy the health benefits of taking to the water. You will be surprised by how great you feel after.
10am Boscombe pier, first bay, zone 1 (bournemouth side) I will be taking a blue flag so we are easy to spot. 🌊🌊
We could see into multiple drainages from our high perch on a butte in the Methow Ranger District as the clouds swirled below us. The Methow River emerged after an afternoon socked in with rain to brilliantly shine until the sun finally retreated. I hope for many more trips like this. Please visit this area and help @methowheadwaters protect this place from large scale mining that would make views like this a thing of the past.
When your eyes are tired
the world is tired also.
When your vision has gone
no part of the world can find you.
Time to go into the dark
where the night has eyes
to recognize its own.
There you can be sure
you are not beyond love.
The dark will be your womb
The night will give you a horizon
further than you can see.
You must learn one thing.
The world was made to be free in
Give up all the other worlds
except the one to which you belong.
Sometimes it takes darkness and the sweet
confinement of your aloneness
anything or anyone
that does not bring you alive
is too small for you.

Not a bad spot to enjoy the first sunset in paradise 🌴 you can find me up here 🌅
No matter how well you plan things out there always something that’ll try to ruin those plans. This time it was the ugly weather, noisy hotel guest and being stuck in traffic because of a train coming to a stop. That’s when I thought about a saying some thru-hiker preach “embrace the suck” so I did. If it wasn’t for the ugly weather this moody photo at Lake Minnewanka wouldn’t be possible. If it wasn’t for noisy hotel guest I wouldn’t have woken up early as I did to start my day. If it wasn’t for the train stopping I would’ve been waiting for @sonia.tinoco to finish getting ready for the day anyways lol. #embracethesuck
Finally made it back home to DC after our 2 week desert adventure and had the chance sit down with my computer and look through some of the pics we captured. I’ve got so many shots I want to share and idk how I’ll edit them or what order To do but for now I thought I might as well start from the beginning. This was our very first view on Day 1 of the trip from the Emerald Pools Trail in Zion National Park.
Today was our last day on Arran. It's been a great few days.

Liebe muss nicht, zwingt nicht, braucht keine Bestätigung, sie ist. Sie wächst, wenn wir sie wahrnehmen, lernen sie anzunehmen und weiter zu verschenken 💝

We're still poring over the photos from #SouthCarolina's Congaree National Park. Just so much natural beauty: towering loblolly pines, birds of prey, brilliant insects, scurrying armadillos, and lots and LOTS of puddles to play in 😀
