Today I met my new team #teambetterstronger and coach miss big quads, biceps and wilks @irislifts. I had a form check on all the lifts. Already better bracing on the squat and a much more stable lift. Last week I did my 5rm tests, next week I will start with the real deal training. I’m in for more gains and higher wilks 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼. Grocery day!!! And cardio and full body workout!!! I’ve been getting asked if I’m still doing Keto. Answer is. Not at the moment. I love keto I highly recommend it for fat loss or rapid fat loss at that. However, I have decided to go back to my normal prep diet of complex carbs, veggies and high protein! I am so far out from my next competition But i am focused on more muscle mass and fat loss right now, because my body fat percent is still too high for where I want and need to be. I may bring the keto aproach back later but for now I’m enjoying my rice and potatoes and back to carb cycling!! If you want info on keto or need help being coached through it I offer that service and am more than happy to help assist just DM me!! As well as any diet plan!! After this past competition, (1 week ago)! I have not slacked on my diet besides a cheat day I had yesterday at the mud bug festival we have here locally every year. I had tacos and corn, beans and Ice cream. And honestly, after that meal I was ready for bed and woke up with a massive headache. Literally like a hangover and all I had was that and water!! I’ve now come to realize my body is still use to healthy carbs and I am sticking to that. I don’t wanna to feel that way again!! I’m kinda glad my body tells me no now. And even though I had sweets my body didn’t feel the need to want more. Didn’t even have the satisfying feeling while or after eating it. I was totally fine with the small amount I had and now back to the grind with 1 hour cardio today and light weight full body to get the blood flowing!! Moderation is key consistency is key and being mindful of your goals is key!!
