We love Collaborations!! Karuna X Sarah Bury
Meet Sarah Bury, she is a recent Karuna Graduate and the worlds best Doctor. Sarah is a little ray of sunshine and an anatomy nerd. She is going to be the anatomy teacher on our course this year!
At Karuna, we are building a community of Karuna Yoga Fellows who come back to be a part of the Karuna Team on trainings and retreats. We are trying to bring diversity in knowledge, a fresh perspective and as much fun possible into our offerings! Having Sarah is a blessing as she has a profound knowledge of the human body and is a beautiful yoga teacher. She makes everything a 1000 times more fun!
Here are a few words shared by her about her experience at Karuna, “It was all incredible. I now wake up earlier for sure. My whole mindset has shifted. I now feel like I have this amazing place to return back to in my mind when things get ahead of me in life, just by connecting with my breath.
I am more open minded, I think, more aware of my emotions without judgement of these. Perhaps the biggest transformation is having found a Karuna family of support, who whilst all being so different, know me better than most of my friends and family. It is very special indeed.” Welcome to the tribe Sarah, cant wait to learn and share!
Vilken fantastisk yogaklass det var hos Kias Body In Balance igår - Masterclass med Julie Martin.
Underbart utforskande och inkännande yogaflöden med skön avslappning och meditation som avslutning!
Tack! @brahmanijulie 🙏❤🙏
Ive been neglecting my #backbend practice. So today I put in some work on #dropbacks ; which I’m still very much fearful of and wala ; I surprised myself! A little shaky but letting go of that fear factor is always gratifying! #practiceandalliscoming
Bologna has been filled with all of the reasons I love Italia! The best food and wine and friendliest people. 💖 Today we took a cooking class to learn how to make authentic tortellini, ravioli, and tagliatelle! 🍝🧀🍷 Always grateful to be learning new things, and also for buildings that are all white and rose gold everywhere! 💖😂🙏🏼 #nevercominghome#butwhenidoimmakingfreshpasta
A little bit of the ocean with me in every yoga class.
This mat is from @wanderingyogiaustralia folds up into a square so it can go into my suitcase. Also provides many interesting things to look at during those 5 breaths in high plank. This yoga mat and I have gotten to know each other quite intimately, every day all day for the past 2 weeks. #200hryogatraining#sonyA6300
AHIMSA • No violence • The first Yama.
Ahimsa one of five rules that a yogi should observe, in order to respect the self and the others.
Is one of my favorite because it can be included in every action we generate.
Thoughts, words and actions are strictly connected between them and ahimsa can be extended to the world using these vehicles of expressions.
Ahimsa can be applied also in our relationship with food (vegetarian and vegan diet for example), with the entire world ( environmental interest and impact) and also on other people (compassion and understanding).
Today I choose to practice ahimsa with myself. Without judging me, my body and just being grateful for what I have. For my breath. For my senses, that many times we give them from guaranteed.
Today I want to choose every word wisely, in order to create love and harmony around myself, because that’s the energy that I want to attract.
What’s your intention for today?

WEAKNESS • sometimes we feel uncomfortable to manifest our vulnerability. Most of times we want to show our strength and how stable we are.
That everything around us should be perfect (whatever that means).
The illusion that ego builds around our true nature. Our true self.
The reality is that vulnerability can be a beautiful and unique strength, and recognizing our limits makes us more true, coherent, aware of who we really are.
That the respect we want to be recognized from others can be transformed into humble inspiration and lack of hypocrisy.
Your fragility is your strength and the true essence of your beauty.
Love every shade of yourself ♥️
especially the one that makes you feel tiny 🙏🏻
My weak point on the mat: every asana that includes “dhanurasana” 😂
Hiking, Bouldering and swimming under endless waterfalls and natural pools.
I couldn’t ask anything better than this ♥️
How are you spending your weekend? .
