Mixed fruit yogurt shaved ice (23 RMB) | To me this tasted more like ice cream rather than shaved ice, which isn’t a bad thing 🤔 This is the small size and we still couldn’t finish it. Thank god we didn’t get the large size. We saw the display as we were leaving and it was literally like a mountain 😅
Smoke in the Gardens
1.5 oz. Grand Visco brandy (@arbutusdistillery)
1 oz. Creme de Pamplemousse (@giffardcanada)
3/4 oz. lime juice
1/4 oz. elderflower syrup
1/4 oz. Vida mezcal (@delmagueymezcal)
4 drops rosewater
Recently acquired Giffard's Creme de Pamplemousse rose, and I couldn't wait to put it to work in a cocktail. I thought Grand Visco (a pisco-style brandy distilled from Vancouver Island grapes) would make an excellent partner for the Pamplemousse. Grand Visco has an amazingly floral and fruity nose, coupled with notes of vanilla due to its light ageing in ex-bourbon barrels.
Given its characteristics, Grand Visco almost seems like it was made to be mixed with other floral and fruity ingredients like the Pamplemousse, elderflower, and flower waters. I wanted to also throw in a little something that would make this cocktail distinguishable from any other fruity-floral cocktail. I figured a tiny dose of smoky mezcal could play nicely with the other flavours of this cocktail. This being said, I feel like even 1/4 oz. of this specific mezcal was a little too noticeable in the final product. Next time, I might try amounts measured by barspoons rather than ounces.
Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide. Sometimes I'm scared of you, but all I really want is to hold you tight, and eat you right. Have you in the day and night! 😁 #nemburger#nemnem#itscoming#letsgoH2eats stay tuned!

Looks kinda like olives, tastes like olives (but so much better!), but they aren’t olives!!! Mind. Blown. New hit single feat. Please Go To @ticketsbar At Least Once In Your Life. The aged beef and bread tapas is also To Die For. 😭😍
The end of the school year is here! Celebrate with a Boodle Fight like this fun group who came right after they finished their last exam. 😆🙌

Last April in Taiwan I drank bubble tea almost every day and ended up losing weight 😁 I doubt the same will happen in Vancouver 😅😥
The best part about this shot was the franchise owner asking me to take the picture on her phone since she liked it so much 😂
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Vancouver fried chicken lovers for such an incredible first week! We’re so pumped to be so busy, but we know we've disappointed a few of you because of how quickly we're selling out.
Our fridge is crammed to bursting every day with chicken, and we’re frying it up until we run out. To try and get more people in for lunch this week we will be opening an hour earlier Tuesday through Sunday at 11:00 am. We’ll definitely be hustling to keep the line as short as possible... good things are definitely worth the wait!
Keep your eyes peeled to our IG story for daily announcements on when we’re sold out. It looks as though most days we will be sold out between 4:00 and 5:00 pm.
Thanks to Korean dramas and variety shows, I have been craving jajangmyeon and jjambong.🍲
The thick black bean sauce with diced pork and vegetables on a bed of noodles and spicy seafood noodle soup is just the best combo. I had no problem finishing it. (I know I eat a lot.)
On a side note, which Korean dramas or variety shows would you watch while eating noodles?

📜: Prime Rib - House of Prime Rib Cut
This was hands down the best steak experience I’ve had! Even booking almost three months in advance only netted us an 8pm dining time but it was well worth it, from the quality to the service to the ambiance.
The prime rib itself was thick cut and super juicy and tender with just the right amount of fatty bits. The sides were also all included in the cost of the meal and they were all tasty, especially the rich creamed spinach and corn. Yorkshire pudding is one of my fave things on earth and here it was deliciously fluffy and eggy. Then they just drench everything in meaty and savoury gravy and legit I was in heaven.
Biggest regret was stuffing my face with too much bread and salad so that I couldn’t eat the free thin slice refill you can ask for. Fail...

✈️A’S ASIA TRIP✈️
Ft. Cremia HK
Although I am going to Tokyo tonight still couldn’t resist trying Cremia for the first time in HK. Made my cousin take me everywhere to find places to eat (although failed miserably to find some places). No line up too which was great this place is hidden in a japanese snack store. I found the soft serve extremely creamy hence the name but it’s a bit too milky for me but I don’t know if it’s because I ate too many desserts that day that I found it a bit underwhelming. The cookie cone was good but the ice cream itself has a very strong milk flavour that did not taste as good as I expected. Probably will try it again in Japan to see if it tastes
better there! .
What do you guys think of Cremia? ⬇️
